I would like that too, we are going third time on that exact cruise with Princess in less than three weeks.

I really like that Itinerary, I have friends that did it  every season, but, I want to do it on HAL. You must like it as well.

  2. What exactly are you getting?

There is the Beverage Card and then there is the Signature Beverage PACKAGE.

There is a difference between the 2 of them.

We are receiving two Signature Beverage Packages as a promo gift. Any drinks up to $8. Up to 15 drinks each a day.

The cruise previously we purchased Beverage Cards at $250. each. Those were very handy to have.

  3. We will be receiving a Signature Beverage Card each as a promo. Can cocktails be ordered using it in the Dining Room? Also, a Glass only of wine in the dining room with this card?

Also, I have not be able to locate the price of wine by the glass?

  4. ....

It truly doesn't matter on the blues cruise. It really is one cruise that you only in the cabin to get 4 or 5 hours of sleep.......

The atmosphere on a blues cruise is nothing like a snooze cruise. The ship is only a shell. It is completely taken over. So throw most of what you know about cruising out the window. Do check the videos on the LRBC website.

Couldn't agree more. We are booked for our third LRBC but also a 'regular cruise', on the Koningsdam, Jan. 15th. Out of 21 sailings HAL / LRBC are our favourite by far.

Sailing on a new ship, and sailing on another LRBC, that is a HUDGE bonus for us! Can't wait!

We sailed on the Noordam last Alaska season as the BB King Allstars were on board, my Husband even got to sit in with them on the last night. We will sail her again this May as well.

  5. We are thrilled that our next LRBC cruise is on the Koningsdam, it is a double header for us! Being big fans of both is extra special for my husband and myself. In the meantime we will again do the 7 day Alaska round trip from Vancouver on the Noordam, the BB King Allstars were something else on last years cruise. And we were pleased to see our chartered blues cruise sailing days added to our non charter sailing days. Love HAL!

  6. I'm trying to find out definite information if any of HAL's ships sailing 7 days Vancouver return to Alaska in 2015 will feature BB King's Lounge aboard.

So far the information that I have found: The Oosterdam is the only HAL ship doing a 7 day return from Vancouver in 2015. The general info does say that the ship does have the BB King Lounge, but not specifically on the Alaska runs.

  7. I believe the QE2 houses dog kennels. We considered the transatlantic from London to New York.

Also, years ago when we sailed the Med on a small Greek ship there was a dog aboard. On deck & in the passenger's cabin.
