  1. On Bliss currently and had called Friday to get the package refunded. Once on board I found out they wouldn’t be requiring masks in the thermal pool or sauna so I rebooked the package.

I don’t know whether they would have allowed me to cancel the prebooked package once aboard but didn’t want to risk it. Buying the package on ship is slightly more expensive than buying it beforehand.

  2. I’m on 3 back to back cruises at the moment and think you’ll be fine. NCL puts together a solo travelers group each cruise and you’re bound to make friends through that. Most folks are also more than happy to chat with you at the table next to yours in the restaurants.

I do identify as more of an introvert and keep to myself so the solo groups tend to be overwhelming to me but I think you’d enjoy them from what you’ve said. I’d also encourage you to get a thermal suit pass. That’s where I go to get my daily dose of human contact.

  3. I’m already booked on an NCL cruise out of Los Angeles and am pondering taking a 3-day Carnival cruise the day after disembarkation from the first cruise. If I get a test during the day of embarkation, does that fall within the requirements for Carnival?

I got confused because of how they talk about the 2-day rule on the website

EDIT: Got the above question answered by a post earlier in this thread. Thank you to the person that posted the table of when to get tested based on departure day.

If I am not able to get a test near Long Beach or on NCL, I’ve heard that Carnival will let you use Doc2Go at the pier. Anyone done that? How much was it and did the results come back quickly?

    TIA
