  1. On RCI cruises, you can't use OBC in the casino. My next cruise is on the Equinox with $450 in OBC. Are you saying I won't have to lose my own money? That's great!

They give you promotional chips for the tables and credit on you seapass card all the winnings you make you can keep the on board credit stays with the card or the chips. For example you get a $5 promotional chip for the table games use it as your bet and you win you keep the winnings.

  2. I've looked through Celebrity website and I'm not 100% clear on what the credit can be used for. It says it can be used for speciality restaurants, excursions and other things. I'm not clear what "other things" are ?

    Anyone ?

    thanks

You can use it for shopping, daily gratuities, casino play, or drinks on board if you don't have a drink package

  4. Hello everyone, my husband and I have finally decided to cruise a new line and are booked on the Equinox in February. We are doing our research and have noticed that we seem to be the only ones who have booked an inside stateroom. We have cruised before, and we never spend time in our cabins except for sleeping and getting ready for the day. We also don't need drink packages as we don't drink soda and rarely an alcoholic drink. Hoping we can get some confirmation that we will enjoy our vacation on Celebrity without having an upgraded cabin and drinking all day.

I have sailed on an inside cabin, and I can honestly say that you will enjoy your cruise. I am in my cabin more often to take some much needed naps but the cabin is also use to get ready, sleep, and shower you mentioned that you don't drink a lot, but the coffee at Café Al Bacio might be worth it to get the drink package as a perk, but if you don't drink much coffee either it would also be a waste then there's the bottled water but you can get it cheaper on land. You will definitely enjoy the cruise in an inside cabin.

  5. Before my first cruise on Carnival's Imagination back in 2004 I looked up what excursion I was going to do and found out that we were making a stop in Grand Cayman Islands and the excursion we did have a stop in Hell, and so going to Hell I was hell bound to go there thus my handle is hell bound, Ron is my first name and 05 is my birth month hence hellboundron05.

  6. I attended a travel agent's cruise conference, and there was a Celebrity Cruise representative on hand. I did ask her about Project Edge and all she can tell me is that everything is hush hush which is understandable. One thing that she did mention to me is that there is not only two ships being built for release for 2018 and 2020, but that there are actually four ships that is on ordered in consecutive years. With that being said she said that the release for the new ships are scheduled for 2018,22019,2020, and 2021 she ask said that not a lot of people know about it but she did make the announcement last night we'll all just have to wait and see if it really is four ships instead of two ships. I'm so looking forward to see e new upcoming ships.

  7. Does anyone have an update on Jonette, CC Hostess, who was on The Century? Last I saw she was 'co-hosting' on a ship but now her name does not appear anywhere. We've sailed many ships several times and she was the only one that provided a "Welcome Back Mr. and Mrs XXXXXXX' on our door. It was just the nicest gesture ever and she was a great hostess. Hope she hasn't 'retired/resigned'!!!

I think she's still on vacation
