It's a huge loss for HAL to have gotten rid of so much good music. On the Noordam recently there was canned music in the Ocean Bar instead of the trio they had. All the production shows had canned music also. There is a general lack of music for people to dance to. HAL piano bars with talented pianists  with personality like Styker or Christine Sutin or Barry from Boston, have been lost to other cruise lines (NCL, etc) or venues.

I would usually prefer Cunard but I'm not happy with them right now. They are offering some cruises around UK on the QE this summer, but it is only being offered to UK and EU residents. Why would that be when no other cruise lines based in the US or other countries are not excluding people from countries that aren't their own? Whether passengers are fully vaccinated or not should be the only criteria. 

Yes-- Linda was excellent on the Zaandam in Nov. 2015.

Carlos Mendoza, cruise director on the Prinsendam, was tops--enthusiastic, warm and caring and his dance classes were much better than "Dancing With the Stars" just fun, easy to follow and NOT competitions.
