  1. What is also a little different and no one could explain this is you are given a separate card to get into the Vibe. So know you have a separate card and a nice wrist band to wear:D

Can someone explain to me what this Vibe pass is? Were going to be on the ship on Saturday and it's only my second Norwegian cruise. I never heard of this and may want to look into it. Thanks in advance

  2. I am sure you will be refunded the money

No, they won't refund the money. It's a dinner show and they are keeping it that way until April. That's fine but I think they could have made a better decision and taken the "loss" for the five weeks that there will be no Broadway show. They will not go under by doing this. :)

Still looking forward to our cruise either way.

  3. If you are booked on Escape, you are losing Million Dollar Quartet. But After Midnight has not been cancelled.

Starting on April 16, For the Record is becoming complimentary (moving from the Supper Club to the main theater). So that is actually a good thing, assuming you are sailing after that date.

There is a back up show scheduled for the transition, some a cappella singers. And they will be replacing the paid show in the Supper Club with something TBA.

You can see NCL's statement to travel agents here.

I assume that the Escape also has other shows in the theater and in other venues that are not advertised in advance or open for reservations. I can understand being disappointed, but these big productions are not the only entertainment options on board.

And yet we still have to pay for what those in April will be getting free. No solutions for the one month of traveling folks. We were told this was an executive decision to have no solution. Bad bad bad.

  4. It is still showing on ours. I know it won't be there, but we still have it reserved.

The show is officially gone as of March 5th. Spent a bunch of time on the phone with Norwegian. They don't seem to care. The show we paid for is going to be offered for free starting in April (no compensation for us) and we still have no idea if we will be booked automatically for the "replacement" show. Very frustrating!!

  5. I only heard there "rumors" from my roll call and now I read this thread. I went online to see what night we had booked the Million Dollar Quartet and it is no longer on our scheduled events. I never got this email. They should have at the very least sent one to me. Were on the phone with Norwegian right now. They told me we still had the show but it is not showing on our itinerary. It says that the show stops on our sailing. Looks like we out for the show as well. The gal on the phone was kind of rude to me as if I didn't know how to look at my planned events. She insisted that we still had the show I know how much they all really hate cruise critic but if it wasn't for cruise critic I would have been taken by surprise on this. Ok, back to reality for 12 more days.....

  6. Thanks for the review crusie4fam. My first Norwegian was last year and I bought the certificate for $250. They didn't give me an option for two. I've seen that a couple times now. If you but two do you get to use it for each one of us on our next cruise or do we have to use if for two separate cruises?

  7. I got a call from Carnival telling me I won a cruise but they didn't have any dates available. The gal said she'd call back but never did.

I was told I won the cruise and only had to pay the taxes but once we started trying to find a date it was pretty much a "wreck" from there. The poor gal was dumbfounded that I wasn't able to get any cruises with my free cruise.
