Has anyone found a hotel near port Canaveral that has 2 bedrooms? My mom is cruising with my family and we would like to be able to share a room for 1 night pre cruise to try to save some money if possible. We did this once in Miami, it was nice to save a little and it was just for 1 night.

Thanks. I have called several times trying to get an answer from them and every time get a different answer. Have gotten some “yes we have a shuttle” and some “no we don’t have a shuttle from there” so I was trying to see if anyone here actually knows the right answer. We just may have to go with your suggestion to drop people off at the port and hope there is a shuttle back for whoever drops off the car or they will just have to take an Uber🤷‍♀️

Has anyone dropped off an Avis (or any other company) rental car at the Port of Miami?  Was it easy to do or was it a pain? There are 12 of us.  We are arriving the day before at Fort Lauderdale airport and renting a car.  We had planned to drop the car off back at the airport and take a shuttle to the port but I see there is a drop off at the port. It is a short shuttle ride to the ships,  would definitely be cheaper to do it this way but with a lot of us-all different ages, just making sure this is doable.  Thanks.

No worries-we know we will need to get a shuttle to POM Sunday AM, there will be 12 of us.  I will check into Ramada. Trying to stay a bit cheaper than Riverside if we can although I have heard great things about it. Keep em coming…  Thanks to all.

Looking for a not REAL expensive hotel near Fort Lauderdale airport with a shuttle from the airport,  just staying 1 night pre-cruise. Cruise is leaving from Miami so proximity to port Everglades is not important. We will take a shuttle to POM the next AM. Breakfast would be nice  since we won’t have a car.

We have 12 people who will need a shuttle from Fort Lauderdale airport to a hotel in Miami. Will be flying in the day before our cruise leaves but we fly to Fort Lauderdale and cruise out of Miami. We did this many years ago but don’t remember who we used.  Thanks for any info you may have for us. 

How much does room service cost these days? Is it a flat fee for however much you order or is it priced per item?

Looking at the Mardi Gras in January.  Wondering if both Grand Turk and Amber Cove are mostly beach days or are there other things to do at these ports such as shopping or excursions etc?  Thanks👍

My family will be cruising next January. Ages ranging from 20's to 80's and everything in between. We want to do 7 day Caribbean leaving from Florida so it looks like our choices are Mardi Gras, Elation, Spirit and the newest ship that's not even out yet-Celebration. Anyone have goods/bad reviews about any of these ships, why would they be good/bad for a large family cruise.  We have all sailed before but it has been a few years for most of us. Thanks. 

Pros-cons for either ship?? Looking at the 8 day on the Sunshine or the 7 day out of New Orleans. Is 1 more up to date, have more of the upgrades etc? Thanks!

OK, just trying to decide on a fun filled beach day. Have decided that Mr Sanchos would be more us than Nachi but now how about Mr Sanchos or Carlos and Charlies Beach club?? It says that C & C is free but is there a minimum price for food/drink you need to buy while there? Can you use the beach and chairs etc for free?? Obviously we can buy some food or drinks or if we want to do a special type of activity we will pay for that but for the most part is it free and which would be more fun for teens/adults??

Hi-we will be stopping in Cozumel next week and plan to meet a friend who is also vacationing there that week. We would like to hang out at a beach, which beach would be the most fun for our families or which is nicer, looking at either Nachi Cocom or Mr Sanchos?? Is either easier to get to from the cruise port? Should we just take a taxi to and from???? Any info on either would be very helpful. Thanks!!!

Thanks for all the great info. We are on the Breeze Jan 12 and this will be our first cruise since our 17 year old daughter has gone GF. I am hoping that we also get Marketa to help us out as I have heard great things about her and that will really put us at ease to know someone has her back and is watching out for her in the dining room:) Hoping we have the same kind of experience you had.

Thanks for all the input. Little background, this is not his first heart attack and he has cruised several times in the past few years with no problems. He has now had 2 surgeries in the past few weeks and in surgery yesterday had another heart attack, will not even leave the hospital for a few days. They were going to be gone for a month with 1 week being the cruise and "road tripping" for 3 weeks-leaving in just a matter of days and Dr wasn't comfortable with them going so quickly and being gone so long. Believe me-he does not want to cancel but we feel it would be safer to wait a few months.. We are still going to go just wondering if there was something the 2 of them can do about the situation. I will try some of the suggestions and see what happens. Thanks a lot.

So, we are booked on the Breeze in a couple weeks with my parents. Today my stepdad had a heart attack and was urged not to go anymore. No one has insurance since we did not see this coming. Since we are so close to leaving, is there anything that can be done for my parents to get money back or credit for another trip at a later date or whatever??? Clearly we should have had insurance but do not so would like other helpful answers if anyone has one other than "should have gotten insurance" Thanks:)

OK-I have forgotten but I am sure someone will know the answer for me. We made our final payment a couple weeks ago and now I see the price is a bit cheaper. I did not book early saver. Is there anything I can do to get the reduction or should I just quit looking to see what the current price is and just be happy that I am booked and leaving on the Breeze in January??? :) Thanks!
