  1. I had the aft Neptune suite on deck 4 and it is possibly my favorite room I’ve ever had. The balcony is almost double deep on the side giving SO much more room. There was slight vibration when pulling into port/docking but not much at all, plus I am up early so it didn’t really bother me. Deck 4 is my new favorite on Rotterdam for sure.

  2. Hi All,

I've cruised a good amount but have a question as this is the first time we will be brining our kids with these room categories. Currently have two rooms booked, one Neptune and one Verandah. Since our kids are under 18 we have to do the reservation with my husband and kid 1 (neptune) and me and kid 2 (in verandah). Once on board we will swap the rooms (since they wont let you do that ahead of time) to put my husband and I in the neptune and kids in the verandah. Can anyone confirm that when they have done this the perks have transferred accordingly? I have had family do this with different perks associated with the room (i.e. have it all on one room, not on the other) and sometimes it transfers to align with the folks in the room sometime it doesn't. Just wanted to see folks experience with this.

  3. I would agree with ray from nh. The last 4 Xmas/new years I have been on cruises with my family, 3 Hal and 1 Cunard. I found that any of the teenagers or youngsters that were on board were very well behaved. I myself am 26 and my brother is 17, we prefer Hal due to the lack of younger cliental and the rowdiness that can come with it. There are definitely more youngsters than any other time of the year but not nearly as many as I have seen on other lines. Also the holiday caribbean seems to have more than any other the other itineraries from experience.
