Booked Seaview B2 Fantascia Balcony with All Inclusive drinks package included in August 2018.
Departure date 13th April from Barcelona.
I havent got a clue what we have as it says Adult Drinks Package on paperwork and there seems to be quite an array of packages.
Can any regular msc cruiser give me guidance?

Thank you everyone.

We are flying in to LA a few days prior to sailing hence we haven't booked their transfers.
Is it possible to book a transfer for disembarkation to LAX from San Pedro once we're on the ship.
We booked with a private ta.
Thanks.

Is it possible to book transfers with a company from LAX to Sunset Boulevard, 31st Oct 2018. Then from Sunset Boulevard to the cruise port on 3rd Nov 2018
Then from cruise port to LAX on 10th Nov 2018.
Or is it very easy to get a taxi at these busy places.
Many thanks.

Thanks guys.

Do you book for 1 guest or 2 as that makes it over £70?
I thought it was, book per clamshell, which is for 2 guests but on planner it asks for guest names which doubles the price.

Thank you all so much for your advise. We have booked Navigator for all the reasons you have all mentioned.
You won't regret it I'm sure. Enjoy!

We have just used galvestonexpress from IAH to Galveston 2 days before cruise and return 3 days later.
Wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.
Professional and perfect service.

We have just used galveston express and found them to be wonderful.
From booking via emails when the company was relatively new to being dropped off back at IAH to return to UK they met all our needs.
We were collected at IAH and transferred to Galveston along with other cruisers who had been collected at a different terminal.
Our driver pointed things out along the way and was pleasant & professional.
Our return to IAH was not a scheduled cruise day as we stayed in Galveston for a few days but they happily made a transfer just for us.
I rang them on the morning to confirm all was ok and it was. They turned up at the time stated with another most pleasant and professional driver.
We would not hesitate to use them again.

We would choose Navigator over Oasis any day.
We preferred the different bars and more seating areas on the Navigator, the fact you don't have to book show tickets/seats apart from ice show.
The windjammer area seemed much more spacious.
Even though there are less pools there was never any shortage of places to sit/lounge.
Loved the window on deck 11 to look into bridge on Navigator.
The Oasis beds were much softer but not sure if they had been changed during drydock as we sailed Transatlantic last year .Plus for Oasis.
Navigator beds were as hard as nails.

Hello,
Everything seems to be Hobby to Galveston.
We sail Sunday, February 14, 2016 but we arrive in Houston on Wednesday, February 10. The Galveston Express only runs the shuttle service Thursday- Monday. We will fly home that following Sunday so we will do the one way coming back with them.
I just need suggestions for that Wednesday. Ideally we would like to make our way to Galveston on Wednesday.
How much is a cab, super shuttle etc.
Have you spoken/emailed them as I had a similar situation and they couldn't have been more helpful. Our return to IAH was a non cruise day but they're transferring us. I can't recommend them enough. Good Luck.

Tammylu's
Default Galveston Express Shuttle
We are on the Galveston Express shuttle right now riding from Houston Hobby to Galveston. Amazing service, beautiful new large shuttle can and fantastic price! I would definitely use this service again.
This was just posted. Hope I was able to do this right.
That is good news. When I corresponded with them they were so professional and quick to sort something out. I booked immediately and price was fantastic. Enjoy your holiday.

Thank you to Scootsmom and Stevesan. I've just booked with Galvestonexpress for October and he created another run for Nov 4th as we're staying in Galveston for a few days and that is not a cruise day. The shock is I'm a 'senior' in USA at the age of 55!!

depends on the hotel in Galveston we normally stay at Hilton and that is walking distance to several restaurants and the beach
Hilton booked pre cruise and post cruise. Wow, they have the monopoly on pre cruise prices! (but it looks lovely)
Now to sort out IAH to The Hilton and return. Any good ideas?
Does The Hilton have a free Port shuttle?

That sounds ideal George C, I'll check it out. Thanks.

We are also flying into IAH 2 days before cruising out of Galveston in Oct and can't decide whether to have 2 nights pre cruise in Houston or Galveston.
We won't be hiring a car so will rely on transfers/cars/taxis.
We're also staying 'somewhere' 3 nights post cruise. I had thought about Galveston but can't remember if it's easy to get around without a car. It's 10 yrs since we were there and we did have a hire car then.
Any advice on options would help.

Thank you Megacruiser for all the time you've put in to help us plan our trips. Will now re read all of it many times.
Enjoy many more cruises and hopefully we'll get more awesome reviews!

Still following, thank you for putting the fab drinks menus up. Anything else gratefully appreciated.

Please share all the bits & pieces like laundry price list, pub price list. What may seem trivial to those that have sailed on Oasis before is invaluable info for 1st timers like myself. Do we have to book shows etc online before boarding?
Thank you for taking the time to do this. I'm following to the end and then will re read probably many times.

Still following and planning my Oct cruise as I do. Thank you for the invaluable advice having never sailed Oasis before.

Have booked TA on Oasis in Oct through Travel Agent. Planning to have a few days in Ft Lauderdale post cruise so have booked flights accordingly. At time of booking we hadn't chosen our hotel but if we booked through RC we got transfers, port to hotel then hotel to Miami airport to fly home. Now we are having problems ( TA also ) in actually getting a hotel we want (or should I say an upgraded room, paying extra for it of course) If we book hotel independently we lose transfers so is it difficult/expensive to do these journeys by taxi. Probably the one we have no clue about is from hotel in Ft Lauderdale to Miami Airport. Distance/Taxi Price.

Following and thank you so very much for the entertaining review. Going on Oasis for the 1st time from Southampton in Oct.
