We decorate the room ourselves. The door, walls and ceiling are metal, so magnets help us hang things. We've used window clings on the balcony door. Have a great cruise!

We did the scenic lighthouse tour in Sept 2013 and loved it.

Just left AOS on Saturday and we were re-routed last week due to Matthew. Missing St Lucia and Barbados, but got St Maarten, St Croix and St Thomas instead. Got three great beach days instead of rain and seeing people sick. ;)

I heard Freedom no longer has the Crown and Anchor welcome back party or the top tier exclusive event. Is that true?

There was no welcome back for C&A, but there was a top tier event on Friday. Since it was formal night, the invitation said 'Formal Attire'. So, I just went to the lounge instead. ;)

Hi RT... Had this same issue back in May (sailing out of San Juan). No issue with Royal regarding the expiration date. This only becomes an issue on the more exotic locals.

Hi Everyone!

Just completed the eastern sailing today and both machines were not working. (sorry for the bad news) You can get a coupon for a small coffee/cappuccino/latte from the concierge each day to use at starbucks.

No sail away party buffet out of Nassau!:eek:

Actually...Bring back John Denton (hotel manager). He knew how to treat the C&A people and how to wow the D, D+ and P.

Just remember to stop by USDA scanners before you check in at the airline counters.

Diego Tripaldi from Jewel started a 7 week vacation on May 31. I do not recall this replacement.

Just sailed Jewel. Diego in the CL is fantastic (but on holiday for the next 6 weeks). I have been on both ships, JOTS & AOTS, but selected AOTS for 2015 based on the date & ports. If you like zip lines, try St. Kitts and Antiqua. In Barbados try the wildlife preserve and see the monkeys up close.

DH and I did the Barcelona trip for our 10th anniversary (were docked in Naples on our anniversary). It was a fantastic trip.

But...what time of year are you planning to travel? To me May in Alaska is too cold, but August in Europe is to crowded.

DH and I have sailed the Canada/NE route twice and look forward to a third. The age may be a bit more mature, but we had a blast. May I suggest the following sites/activities... Alexander Keith brewery tour and a pub crawl in Halifax, the zip line in St John, an aerial tour in Bar Harbor, Shipyard brewery and 2 Fat Cats bakery in Portland, as well as, a quick run up to Freeport.

Sailing soon on BOS, too. Will check out the park café for you.

Sailed out of Boston in 2013 for the second time. There is a 'hop on hop off' trolley that takes you to all the sites and provides a nice narrative.

I decorate our door because it is fun.:) And it helps us find our room (so many cruises, so many doors).;) I have decorated for our birthdays, our anniversary, fall leave when sailing to Canada, Christmas, valentine's, whatever the occasion/season. I like using window clings on the balcony doors & vanity mirror to bring the décor inside, too.
