We actually didn't use the local currency I was quoting the cost but used a credit card to pay. They did accept euros as well.

There is a dock near the Little mermaid statue that I saw. It was for the City Sightseeing bus company which is not the one we used but the one that seemed to be the better choice as their boat tour was a hop on hop off one. Ours was a one hour tour without stops for 40 Danish Krone per person.

jonj, I notice you used Danish Krona for your boat tour. Did you notice if they accepted Euros in either Denmark or Norway at all.Hubby seems to remember that some places did last time we were there.Have gone through all your Cruise Compasses. Thanks, great reading.Leany:D

We had our letter yesterday with an apology for all the problems we experienced on the Caribbean and USA cruise. Assuming all those receiving the hamper were on that cruise I am very surprised you don't know why.

We refused our upgrade and now always tick the box to say no upgrade. They moved us from an inside midships with bath to an outside foreward with shower only. Did not consider it an upgrade simply to have a window when we only change and sleep in our cabin. We were told our original cabin had already been given to somebody else. We stood our ground and after a lot of hassle managed to get our original choice back. To us an inside midships cabin on a deck with say the restaurant or theatre on it means no light, no sound ,no movement and less queuing for lifts, and if I can get it I also like my bath.I also look at the deck above to see whats above . Below the shopping mall is good because they are closed at night,below the jogging track is bad.No engines. No rattling balcony doors or rain lashing on windows for us. Its a science you know;)
