  1. I am hoping they’ll either still bring the Allure to Galveston or replace her with another ship or two that do 7 day itineraries because the only other options I saw were Adventure ots 4/5 night sailings. We are a group of 10 and my husband and I are treating our kids and spouses to this cruise.  We would drive to Galveston.  I cannot afford to move the reservation to another port if we had to fly there.

  2. We are on the March 6th sailing of the Magic. That's exciting, but I'm a little nervous. There should be a lot of new things to enjoy but I've heard of other nightmare stories of cruises right after dry dock that didn't have all the projects completed, and work going on during the cruise. Should we be nervous? Is there a possibility it would get cancelled if they couldn't finish all the upgrades (asking because I don't have insurance and thinking I might want to get it). We already received an itinerary change and also a notice that we don't leave port until 7 pm on embarkation day.

  3. I have a friend sailing tomorrow and asked him to take some pics as we have 11330 booked for 11/29/14.

We are on the Nov. 29th sailing of Oasis too. Would you want to do a cabin tour exchange? We are in a Royal Family Suite. I am asking because we have that room (11330) and an Aqua Theater suite booked in 2016 and I want to know which one we should keep. Or, if you don't care to see ours would you be willing to let us peek at yours :)

  4. We are doing the exact same thing...

Oasis Nov. 29th then Liberty Dec. 6th. We are in Family Suites on both sailings. They told me to talk to someone I the Loyalty office, once on board Oasis and they'll help us with the transfer from the Oasis to the Liberty on Dec. 6th.

Maybe we'll see you on the ship? Not too many days now!

  5. Ok so I will admit, I don't totally know what I am talking about...but I do know that this will be my first and second (my whole families first and second) Royal Caribbean cruise-s.

What I need to know is how to get and attach a crown and anchor number to the second cruise before it starts. I was told that I would get some benefits from doing that?

We are doing the Nov. 29th sailing on the Oasis and the December 6th sailing on the Liberty.

    Here are my questions:

How to get C & A number and apply it to second cruise

How to get from Oasis to Liberty (transfer ships)

What are the benefits of the C & A club on the second cruise?

If we want to book another cruise while on board would it make a difference if we did it on the first cruise vs the second cruise?

  6. I am re-shopping our cruise that we purchased for Dec. 2014 on the Liberty OTS.

We currently have reserved a promenade stateroom for our two boys and cabin 8200 Family Ocean view for my husband, myself and our three daughters.

For an additional $1260 I can upgrade to two adjoining junior suites.

The perks I know of are:

    Balcony

    Priority boarding

    bathtub

    Double cruise points

Would you recommend I upgrade? Why or why not?

  7. Sorry I neglected to list the itinerary for Oasis. The family cruise will be a Eastern and the one in February will be Western. Also, the reason I narrowed my decision to these two ships is because they are both offering a resident discount that makes the fares very reasonable for us.

Thank you for all the advice so far. I really appreciate it.

  8. First of all, we have never cruised Royal so we don't know anything about the ships.

We have a family cruise booked on the Oasis of the Seas November 2014. We have three Central Park balcony rooms.

I was going to book a second cruise in February for just my husband and I. I am deciding between Independence of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas. Here's where I need advice.

    1) I like the 8 nt. itinerary on Independence better than the 7 nt. oasis.

    2) We already did (or will have by this cruise) Sailed Oasis.

    3) prices comparisons are as follows:

    Oasis:

    C2. $2027

    JS: $2859

    GS: $4307

    Independence:

    E2: $2408

    JS: $3398

    GS: $5412

As you can see Oasis fares are awesome! SO....do we do Oasis a second time because it's so reasonably priced? OR since this will only be our second cruise on Royal would you say to try a different ship and pay the extra?

Also, we were thinking on getting a JS or higher to expedite our Crown and Anchor status and we can get a better deal on Oasis suites. So that is another dilemma in our decision.

Would love to hear feedback from those who are Royal Regulars.
