We have three in our room for our upcoming cruise and we each had to pay to get HIA.

Coming this Sunday😎 how many are on board?

I wish someone would answer this, I to am wondering what would be the better cabin. Is a window worth the money?

We just got off the Veendam today we’re we’re assigned room 655 toward the back elevator. The room and the hall had a horrible chemical smell. I had a headache and my husband who has respiratory problems and using oxygen felt ill the whole two days we were in the room. They finally moved us to room 524 towards the front of the ship, which was much better. 549 May be far enough away from the smell but I wouldn’t take the chance, get a room further away. The whole back of the ship on the Main deck smelled during our whole cruise. They were only able to move a few people.

After our flight was ticketed 60 days out, I was able to go to the Delta website and upgrade to the Comfort class

After our flights were ticketed, and I called 60 days out and they did ticket them right then. I went into the Delta site and was able to upgrade to the comfort seats. By then there wasn't much selection left but we did find some for both our flights. I was well worth the extra money.

Thanks for all the replies. We also spent the winter in Florida and it has thinned our blood. I will be taking lots of warm clothes to Norway.

For anyone recently on the Rotterdam, how were the temperatures inside the ship. On our last cruise the Oosterdam I froze the whole week and we were in the Caribbean. Also are there DVR player in the room or has the system been upgraded yet? Off to Norway soon. Thanks

I called on day 45 and they ticketed my flight right then. If you aren't ticketed you can not upgrade your seat on Delta. I then went to the Delta website and bought the Comfort Seats as the seats Flight Ease had gotten us were terrible.

We got our cabin today for a May 27 sailing on the Rotterdam, no upgrade.

When we cruised in December from Tampa there was a long line for the wheelchairs. My husband walked and it wasn't to bad for him as it wasn't as steep as other ports. You may have to wait awhile. We were in our room in less than 10 minutes! I think we would have been waiting for an hour!
