La Cueva Del Mar is the best place for whole snapper. Super close to the port too.

We are a party of 7, so a 10 pounder sounds good.

Is it possible to get an Alaskan King Crab Dinner at the end of May? We will be arriving early afternoon in Vancouver on Wednesday May 24, 2017 with our cruise leaving on Friday morning May 26, 2017. I know this is just outside crab season, so I was wondering if it's still a possibility?

We will have 7 adults with 7 large bags and 7 carryons. Will we be able to get from the YVR to Pan Pacific hotel in one taxi (van)? And when you said set price of $35 is that per taxi?

Currently on the Inspiration in an inside cabin, no hair dryers.

DW just called guest services and the cabin steward brought one.

Did you happen to bring home your Fun Times? We would love to see them.

Were there any cabin upgrades done? Sad to see the Wok gone, but I know I will enjoy its replacement.

Yes on Lido deck, back in the buffet area.

Do they have real tortilla chips now, or just the flour ones?

They no longer have any tortilla chips, just as they do not do hard tacos at blue iguana, only soft. They have this great salsa bar and no chips. We bought some at the store on Catalina Island.

I'll post the menu to the chef's table tonight as I have not yet uploaded that to photobucket. This was the 1st time on a carnival ship in 2 years, so there were a few differences in the dining room menu's. I had no idea they got rid of Lobster on formal night. You now can get Lobster any night or Prime steaks for a $20 up charge.

Was the rotisserie still in place or is that now gone? Assuming the drink station is still outside.

Drink station still there, unfortunately rotisserie is gone.

Where is GUYS BURGERS? Where the grill was?

With the warmer weather from El Nino this week, how was the weather in Catalina and Ensenada? We're on her in two weeks and kind a hope the weather stay on the warm side.

Weather was awesome. No need for a light jacket anytime. Even smoking a cigar on deck at 10pm was t-shirt weather.

Can you grade the ship experience overall on your cruise (food, cleanliness, cabins..)?

Thinking of doing a 5 day next month. Any advice or recommendations are appreciated.

Ship was very clean, new paint everywhere. Food was good, 2 out of 3 nights in the dining room was great, the one night it wasn't, was my fault for getting Crab ravioli. Crab was good, pasta has not so much. 4th night we ate at the chef's table, which was very good. Breakfast was in the dining room, especially liked the brunch (steak & eggs) on sea day. Cabin was fine although my DW asked for a mattress pad for the bed, as she thought it was too hard. We have done this cruise itinerary many times on a few different Carnival ships, we don't go because it's 5 star, we go because it's ridiculously reasonable. Everything was good food, service and we are close enough to drive to port.

Just home from Inspiration and here are some upgrades that were made.

This took the place of where the Wok was, and yes the Wok is no longer on the Inspiration

Don't know as I did not try it.

The new installations look good. In the Alchemy bar it appears they may have removed the TV sets that were there so watching sports in a bar may no longer be an option on Inspiration and soon the Imagination. Is that correct from what you saw of the Alchemy bar area?

No the TV's on the walls are still there.
