We are going on the Ruby Princess in September, 2019 to Alaska, and will have a smoker in the group.  I want to make sure she does not feel uncomfortable having a smoke when she wants to.  Can anyone tell me where the smoking areas on the Ruby Princess?

Do you know if there are USB ports near the bed to charge the phone?

Do you know how many power outlets there are in the cabins?

I am traveling with a friend and I have my ocean ready all set up, but ocean ready will not recognize my friend when she tried to set hers up.  All the information in the Cruise Personalizer is complete, so we must be doing something wrong.  Any advice from my techy cruisers?  

I would stop by the Spa on the first day and ask them.  Since the medallion is in place, I would think that is all you need to access the spa.

I would think it would be a cruise long pass when you have a full suite.

The Thermal Suite on CB has heated tiled loungers, warm therapy pool - I think with a rain shower overhead, sauna, steam room, etc..  Very soothing environment.

I am sailing on the Caribbean Princess to the Eastern Caribbean on May 18th and would like to spend some time in the thermal spa, but cannot find any information on how to obtain a day pass or a week pass.  Can anyone shed some light on this?  Thanks

Does anyone know if this cabin has the beds against the porthole wall or are the beds against one of the side walls?

These two cabins are aft oceanview on the Emerald deck.  Anybody experience a problem with either of these cabins?

Great review!  I have sailed on the Caribbean twice when it was new, and am going on her again in May.  I wondered if it was still in good shape.  Glad to hear it is still awesome.  

The flyer I received is not perfectly clear...it appears they want you to take a cruise before August 14, and then they invite you on an Ultimate VIP Cruise.  What is the Ultimate VIP cruise and when is it?

It was $250 pp, but we only paid $750 pp for the obstructed oceanview, so it made sense to go with it. We are sailing April 9 on the Jade to the Western Caribbean. So excited we can hardly wait! I am traveling with my niece who has never cruised before, and she does not know I have upgraded our cabin. It will be so fun to see her surprise!

Yes, you should call the upsell number. I did, and they upsold me from an obstructed oceanview to a MA mid ship mini suite for $250. Have nothing to lose by calling. I hear stories how the upsell office is so rude, but the two women I talked to were extremely nice.

I just received an email from the NCL Upsell Department! I am booked in an obstructed ocean view on deck 8. They offered me a balcony towards the back of deck 9 (not an aft cabin) for $150pp, or a mid-ship mini-suite for $250pp. They would not negotiate at all, and since there are only 5 mid-ship minis left, I took the mini upgrade! So excited! Cannot wait to surprise my niece with this. :lips-sealed:

How long before your cruise did you receive the offer for an upsell from OA to balcony? We are in an OK cabin and would love to upsell to a balcony. Still 40 days until we cruise. Did they send you an email, call you, or did you call the upsell department? Thanks for the info :)

Does anyone know how obstructed NCL Jade Obstructed Cabin 8056 is? Booked this cabin for the April 9 cruise at a good price, but thinking may have to switch to balcony if the view is really terrible. Thanks!
