Great idea with the shrimp! Still wish they would offer grilled fish, which would taste better and put a fresh spin on things. Do you know if they offer corn tortillas instead of flour? I need to avoid as much saturated fat as possible.

I think only flour. They are small and made fresh. Grilled fish would be great! I gave up all Mexican food for lent so I’m looking forward to our Easter cruise and eating some great tacos in San Juan.

I always go in the taco line and ask for shrimp and they have no problem getting it for me from the burrito side. They are not fried they are small cocktail like shrimp for some reason the name is escaping me! Yum!

Next time you get tempted to buy diamonds on a ship or island, ask them this:

 

What are the table and depth percentages?

 

What are the crown and pavillion angles?

 

How does it score on the HCA?

 

If they don't give you all of that, walk away.

 

 

(If you have no idea what I'm talking about, google HCA or Holloway Cut Advisor and find the largest prosumer forum on the internet and read there and learn how to buy diamonds).

Hi, does the check in time apply if you have Faster to the Fun? I just looked for our April cruise and the first time available/offered is 12:30 to 1:00....seems kind of late to me.

I've been trying unsuccessfully to find paperwork on Carnival's website for transferring an online booking to a TA. Can anyone give me a link to it? Thanks VERY much!

You don't need any paper work. I booked last weekend online very late and was having a problem with adding my family members for whatever reason. I called carnival gave them my info and then I told them I would be transferring the booking to my travel agent and they asked for a four digit pin number and said my agent would need that for the transfer.

Monday called my agent gave them my booking number and pin number and they called Carnival and made the switch! Easy Peasy!:)

How far in advance do they post the movies for a cruise and where did you find the list? I have been looking on Carnival.com and cant seem to find any lists let alone the one for my summer cruise.

John Heald puts them up on his Facebook page about a week before the next month.:)

I haven't had it yet, either, but I don't think they are using chargers at all in AT. I have seen the pictures of the AT place settings before dinner is served, and the only plate is the little, square, brown & white bread plate.

Hi! We had an 8J last August on the Pride (sister ship to the Miracle) and we had two lounge chairs, and one regular chair and a table!

The weather wasn't too bad. We didn't use the balcony until mid-afternoon on Tuesday. I like to sit outside if it's sunny, even if it's in the 50's-60's. I think the ship was rolling a bit the first day and it was windy. The last sea day was cool, and the ship was rolling a little again. Have a fun cruise.

Hi!

Was on the Pride last Aug/Sept and had an 8k extended balcony and we had two chairs a table and lounge chair. It was already there when we got there. Also on the Pride sister ship Legend we sailed two times and also had 8k rooms each time and had no lounge chair so I guess it is luck of the draw. :)

EDIT to add: I take that back, we had TWO lounge chairs one regular chair and a table, just looked at my pictures.

Also thinking about doing this for my husband as a surprise. Does anyone know if I wait to book if they run specials on the first day and is gratuity added automatically and if so what percentage?

When is your cruise and what ship? I have been checking 100 times a day (no joke) and mine still says sold out. I cruise 4/16 on the Sunshine.

April 3, Pride! I checked many times a day too and yesterday it was gone, nothing, nada, zilch ...no box telling me it was sold out! So this morning I checked and it was back and no red sold out sign! So I booked it Hope you have the same luck as I did! Safe travels!

I have been somewhat obsessively watching the 'SOLD OUT' Faster to the Fun homeport excursion several times a day for the last 3 months. We are travelling in 4 cabins with friends and family. Half of our group got it a few weeks ago but was sold out again within minutes.

 

This morning the FTTF shore excursion has disappeared completely. I am hoping that change may mean something is being uploaded. I suppose it could also mean that there is no way any more will be released.

 

Experiences?

I have been doing the same thing, and I agree I thought maybe it is gone so they can reload lol! I checked again this morning and to my surprise it was back and I scored one! Hopefully it works out for you too!

It was really more of a 50 per person sale as I booked one for three people and my deposit was 148.50.

Yep, I booked for 2017 and 2018, for four people per cabin and the deposit was $198.00 for each cruise.:)
