I love Uber and was considering using them for an upcoming cruise out of New Orleans so I decided to check pricing from Gretna, a suburb just across the river and usually a 15 minute ride to the port. UberX was well over $100 and Uber SUV (which we needed) was $250.00.

We are traveling with three grand kids. Carnival says that minors (under 16) that don't have a passport can use their birth certificate and a copy is acceptable as long as it it a legible copy of a government issued birth certificate. When my daughter in law copied the 10 year old's certificate, in the background "VOID, VOID" showed up. The dates and names are all legible. Anyone experience this? There is nothing unusual about her status. Both parents are born and raised U.S. citizens and all now live and have always lived in Louisiana. I can't find anyone with Carnival who can say that is OK. I want to have all our documents in hand a week before our departure and since all live out of town I don't want the original certificates sent in the mail. Any help would be appreciated.
