  1. I have actually been to Nassau previously on a couple cruises. The first one was years ago when you were still sorta allowed to walk around Atlantis. The resort didn't really give you a hard time about walking on the property you just couldn't use any of the amenities, ie. Sit on a lounge chair. Then I went back years later with my husband and the resort was closed off completely if you didn't have a pass. Not wanting to spend a lot of money we decided not to go and just rented lounge chairs at the nearby beach. This was a good cheap alternative. I enjoyed sitting there on the beach with my book..he did not. Soo...the next time we took a cruise to Nassau we decided it was time to go to Atlantis. We priced out what the options were and the cheapest route (thanks cruise critic) was to get a comfort suites room. The price for the room with all the fees and taxes came out to ~$390. Another couple came with us for the day so the final price was roughly $97.5 a person. This did not include transportation to get there. I don't recall the price but I believe we took a taxi there and it was not exorbitant. The way back I think we took the water taxi. We didn't eat anything while in Atlantis. Instead we grabbed a bite in town before heading back to the boat. Overall, I think Atlantis it was worth it for the price we paid. My husband was very happy and I felt like there was a lot to do. I enjoyed the lazy river and the water slides. We also enjoyed just walking around exploring the property and seeing all the fish tanks. Hope this helps you decide what to do. Let me know if you have any other questions. I will do my best to answer them and can keep an eye out for things or ask questions at the resort when I am there this weekend. Also, if anyone does need access for this weekend I can add two more guests to our reservation for a $40 fee pp I believe.

  2. I am actually headed to the Comfort Suites in Nassau (to stay, not cruising) this Saturday, 10/10 thru Tuesday 10/13. If anyone is cruising and needs Atlantis day passes for these dates let me know. We only have two guests in our room an you are allowed up to four, so we could still get two more day passes for atlantis. I believe the up charge for additional "guests" to get Atlantis passes is about $40 pp. (pinkjame14@aol.com)
