  1. Pambo - I was on the Getaway April 18 - 25 . We were in 13908 .Did you have that room ? We took food back from O Sheenans as well . We ate there like 5 times . Once my daughter went down to get breakfast for us while I was in the room getting ready for the day in St Maarten . Another time we ordered appatizers from O Sheenans to take back to the room - was late and wanted out of my chair bad !

  2. Okay - sounds like the cabin will work good for me then . Thank you all :) I am concerned about "waves" . anybody want to share some stories on them ? I am terrified of a wave knocking us over . I want to get past these scary thoughts so I can try to enjoy what is coming up . My daughter won this trip and she wants to take me . Otherwise a cruise was not in my plans .

  3. New to this cruising stuff . Just got info on my room .

    What does AFT mean ?

What does category B1 mean ?

I am on Deck 13 in a Balcony Stateroom . It is suppose to be a handicap cabin . That is what I need .

Any help and info would be great about this room .

    Thank you .

  4. I am going on the 7 day cruise to the Bahamas , St Martin and St lucia . I am in a power wheelchair - not able to walk at all . Does the ship pull up to a dock or does it sit out in the ocean and have to transfer to a boat to get to the islands ?

Has anyone stayed in a handicap room that can share pictures ? I also need a hospital bed - is there room to have one put in the room ? Do they take out the regular bed and bring in the hospital bed and a single bed for my PCA ?

What about the Rouge waves ? Huge fear for me .

Anything else you can share that I would want or need to know ? This will be my first cruise - to be honest I am very scared . Times like this I wish I was "normal" .it sounds like a lot of work and worries to go on any sort of vacation in a wheelchair .

Thank you in advance for replies .
