  1. We are just off the Carnival Sunrise (March 17th sailling). We were in Spa balcony cabin 1057 and never noticed the sewage smell on the balcony. However, I will agree that we slightly smelled sewage at different places around the ship and one of them the serenity deck.

In terms of motion, there will certainly be a bit more motion forward than mid ship. However, on our sailling the waters were so smooth that we did not feel the ship moving at all.

We loved the convenience of being on deck 10 (close to the pool deck) and enjoyed the abillity to use the thermal passes (complimentary with the Spa cabin).

  2. We are getting a rapid antigen test in Canada at the airport before flying and boarding our cruise in Miami. I contacted the testing company to confirm what the proof of negative test certificate would look like. They are providing/meeting every element on Carnival's website, however, the only thing that bothered me is they said the signature will be handwritten. Everything else will be typed, but the signature won't be.

Carnival's website states "Handwritten results will not be accepted".

I contacted Carnival and they assured me that if the signature is the only thing handwritten on the proof, there will not be any issue at the port.

However, I am still a bit skeptical and wanted to know if anyone had any recent experiences.

    Thanks in advance!

Enjoy, use your OBC for a bottle of wine with dinner... lots of other choices though.

  5. Non-refundable OBC cannot be used to pay the DSC... not sure why the rep, likely poorly trained, would tell you differently but this has been the case for many years. OBC can used for many things but not DSC.

Thank you! That’s what I understood from the research I did and was surprised by what the rep told me.

  6. I received 200$ of OBC from NCL as a promotion when I booked and questioning if it can be use towards the DSC. From what I can see, there is misleading information about this on this forum. I've seen that since it is non-refundable OBC it CANNOT be used towards the DSC. However, I just called NCL and the rep said that it could be use towards DSC.

Can someone please share their experiences.

  7. We have just booked our first cruise on NCL. We have done 7 CCL and 3 RCL previoulsy. We are booked on the Breakaway out of NY to Bermuda. Tell me what you like with NCL, tips, things not to miss, anything you can think of that would be helpful to a NCL newbie. Also, I've heard there are no formal nights on NCL. What is the dress code like?

  8. Can someone tell me how is the nightlife on this ship? We are a bit worried after reading a few reviews saying that this area is lacking. Also, how is the music at pool and sailaway party ? We like Carnival's sailaway party with the music and dancing but from what I can see that won't happen on Oasis of the Seas since it's in the aquatheater. Tell me your experiences.

    Much appreciated!

  9. Hi,

I am looking at different company for transportation from an Orlando Airport Hotel to Port Canaveral and back to MCO. Does any one has use a company that they recommend? We do not want to rent a car and we are a party of 8.

I've look at different company and the best prices I could find are the followings :

    Cotrans : Sold out

Acces Line Transpo (Van would be cheap, party too big for a limo)

VIP Executive Limo (I am a bit hesitant for this one as there are some negatives reviews recently... However, I see that they are highly recommended on this site. Any recent experience? They are the cheapest for a limousine and I think this could make the ride special versus of a van.)
