Yes, she will have JUST turned 12 and I know the oldest camp group is 9-11, so I'm hoping! Thank you for your responses. I'm pretty sure my hubby is not going to be OK with her hanging out with 14 year old boys at Circle C! Haha! :eek:

Hi there, my older daughter has aged out of the kids activities as she will be 12 at the time of sailing. Does anyone know if she is able to stay with my 9 year old for any of the activities? My (will be) 9 year old tends to want a familiar face around. :-)

We went to Chileno Beach and it was wonderful. We hired a private driver. He picked us up at the port, drove us to the beach, brought us water, beer, and sodas, and sat and waited for us until we were ready. Once we were ready, we still had some time so he took us to the glass factory, and then to his favorite place on Medano for a late lunch. I can give you his name if interested. He spoke perfect english and was such a gentleman.

 

But about the beach. Soooo beautiful. Bathrooms & showers. Palapas. Clear water. Lots of beautiful fish to snorkle with (this is one of the places that the snorkle trips go to by boat). There is no where to get food, but we brought snacks to get us through until lunch. If I can figure out how to upload a picture I will. This beach is so nice that it is comparable to some of the beaches on Maui:)

Hi there, we will be sailing on the Splendor in October and are trying to make decisions on the best place to spend a day at the beach. We will have two little girls, ages 5 and 8, and here are our hopes. ANY HELP or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated! :D

We would love a place to sit under an umbrella and order a quesadilla and a few cerveza's.

We don't really want to be at a "Spring Break" atmosphere with wet t-shirt contests. :-)

We would love a nice beach for the kids to play on and maybe swim/snorkel in some calm water

Any suggestions on which beach/location we can find this at?

Aww... my first cruise was the last for the Festivale. We were on her final voyage as the Carnival Festivale. I remember all the crew were sad to see her go and it was a family atmosphere. I am so sad she was scrapped! The previous poster who wrote about the strips of plastic on the Lido brought back so many memories! :-)

We are in an inside cabin, just hubby and myself. I am not sure we will need the over the door shoe thingy we pack light most of the time anyway. I literally LOL @ spanx, it is on my list as I need a new pair ;)...and I will take the duct tape, just in case...thank you so much for the response.

Haha, I took my Spanx on the Victory last March and wore them for a total of 20 min. Took the pictures, then went into the ladies room and ripped those suckers off and through them in my purse!
