We disembarked Regal on 12/3 and were not in an ***** cabin and they would not punch my card as they are all the new cards that will malfunction if tampered with!
The non ***** cards are RFID cards. They are used as RFID cards to purchase laundromat tokens.

It seems very unlikely you will get an ***** cabin as a guarantee. When we called trying to get an onboard credit for not having it they offered to wait-list us for one of the ***** cabins.

Hmmmm..then how can a ship embark in Seattle, stop at several ports in Alaska, then make a quick stop in Victoria, Canada before returning to Seattle ????
We did exactly that on our last Alaskan cruise
Because round trip Seattle isn't two different US ports?

The Regal Princess has expanded the walkable area on deck 7 however you are not able to do a full circle.
I wouldn't even call it walkable. There isn't enough room for two people to pass without yielding.

Is it a formal kilt?

Also consider a multiport usb charger.

Don't think I will be doing this in the new lock.
I wouldn't want to be on the first few trips.

Hello everyone!
I was wondering if anyone knows what the capabilities are of the computers onboard. We don't really want to bring a laptop but it would be nice to be able to clear my memory cards once in a while and just plop the data on a DVD or a portable hard drive. I was looking at a WD MyPassport Wireless but apparently the SD card reader is unreliable, and at best very slow.
So can I download my pictures/videos from a SD card onto other media using the onboard computers? Or is there a service like this provided on board? Or any suggestions?
Thanks for any assistance in advance! :D
If you google 'sd card backup' you will find lots of choices. They are generally all pretty expensive though.

Just boarded Ruby Princess
Attending Muster Drill
Captain announced it as per the Peincess Patter
We got into Theatre and seated and instead of starting drill on time Princess delayed it by 20 minutes and just told us all to sit and relax
To chat to whoever is beside us
Normal crappy Princess service
Officers never mingle with passengers as we might tell them how inconsiderate they are
Wow, I'm sorry. Hopefully it gets better.

You can get renewed passports by April 2.

My wife and I were on the Star in July when they tested this. It was actually quite good.
There were two 'audition' nights at the beginning of the cruise. That was where you saw the bad singers. One girl sung all 20 minutes of Bohemian Rhapsody. It was awful. One guy sung Eminem's The Real Slim Shady. It was awesome.
The finals were in the main theater on the second to last day. They did only have good singers there.
It was VERY will received by the standing room only crowd.

Princess has a 1-800 emergency number that people can call to reach you on the ship. That is what I give my employer. The fact that it costs $16 or so a minute really keeps the number of calls down. In fact they have never decided it was important enough to call!

Yes, it is still available. Yes, you order from it the night before.

My heart sank when I read this. To us, 5:15 = late lunch. Oh my! Geez, are people even back from the shore excursions at this time?
The rest of our group convinced us to fix our dining for the early seating on our AK cruise, I can't believe now I said OK.
Our normal eating time is right alongside the South Americans at 9 pm.
I see a lot of Lido dinners on this cruise.
Lido dinner is over at 8. After that you have to wait til 10:30 for the late night snack.
