Ok, an inside would get which options then?
I think i would have to book the steakhouse looks amazing

Hi
So we can go 4 main dining rooms, is blu included for inside rooms,
The pool area looks quiet and i often see peoples photos/videos it looks really crowded, is this a problem?
Is there an example of an entertainment (like royal caribbeans cruise compass) i can view anywhere?
Thanks

really excited that we are about to book celebrity edge for next year, and just have a few questions as looking at doing just an inside ( they seem bigger to previous insides on other ships as well ) never cruised celebrity before but have done day visits on the reflection and eclipse.
Is there plenty going on day and night ( done 5 cruises previously, but i feel celebrity will be a bit more chilled - previously done royal caribbean)
What is the average age range on a caribbean sailing in winter?
do the inside cabins still have the mod cons the balcony etc have( apart from the remote control features im guessing)
If we are in an inside what dining room do we eat in, and is the steakhouse good ( love our meat)
I am a crown and anchor gold member now, will i get much on celebrity as i know its the same loyalty programme
I think i will have many more questions but iv wanted to do the edge since it came out so i cannot wait!!
Thanks

Ok well i think we will actually be the one above as we will of done 4
Royal cruises! Seems like
Theres a few extra benefits. What difference is there from Say a inside category 9 To 10?
-
It says
- One category stateroom upgrade applicable up to AquaClass* does that mean if we book a inside we can go up to outside etc

Sounds good il have to look what that gets you.

No were gold at the moment :(

I agree we did oasis it was amazing too plenty to do.
So if were crown and anchor members which we are , does that mean were automatically elite? Weve done 3 rci cruises. What does elite get you?

That sounds good the mast grill lol
-
Ur i dont stay in the hotel all evening and have about 4 days just in the hotel. This is different.

I know ha its so tough finding both a amazing ship and itinery
-
I have watched a few videos but yeah it just seemed very quiet, loved the ships though and it really is about the itineries more now. but its tough as not many are doing a good one like the celebrity, its really only p&o britannia but im not keen on the whole british side of it haha. I like to feel im abroad not still all british things. it would depend on price but either an inside , outside or balcony.
vettegal99 i know what you mean i love the royal promenade, thats what im most worried about not having on this ship too!
-
I would like that eating outside and a grill sounds lovely, i dont feel this is getting sold to me though haha, one minute i think we should do it the next im very unsure! we shall see. we would be doing more likely a 10/11 or 12 nights caribbean cruise. im guessing theres a few places in the evening to go to have a drink , see the show or just sit somewhere else, go around the shops etc.

Me and my partner our mid 20s and have cruised RCI and iv done a p &o cruise years ago. We Love royal caribbean but we just want some different itineraries, i want to do Barbados, antigua , st lucia etc were not many royal ships gop and if they do its on the smaller ships. Celebrity silhouette, reflection and equinox are doing great itineraries ( not too keen on equinox ) so more likely the others, especially silhouette, but i have some questions first. were worried it will be too quiet and we dont do the rock climbing wall or flow rider on royal but do like to watch and like the fact there is always something to do.
1.is it a much older crowd, we dont mind who the other guests are and ages but it would be nice to have a mix as long as its not snobby! lol.
2. What are the shows like, again are they aimed more older crowd or is it a mix? iv seen a review of a recent cruise and it looked quite similar to royal , illusionists etc which looked good!.
3. I hear a lot of people say the food on celebrity is a step up for sure. im a fussy eater so is there good choice of chicken, chips, burgers, and meats basically?
4. what is the formal nights attire? i believe its a bit more formal than royal, like a tuxedo, is a shirt and pants not accepted?
5. how much is the alcove to hire for the day as they look fab! some prices do seem quite expensive for drinks and internet so would more likely get a drinks package.
any help and info would be appreciated, i love the modern look of celebrity and would love to do it.
Thanks

this has been a great thread im thinking of either reflection or silhouette so its been interesting to read!
-
i did this 2 weeks ago, they change to be honest most nights its either 8.30 and 10.30 or 7.45 and 9.45
-
Oh dear doesent sound good, was there many rough folks ha, was tnat a caribbean cruise
-
Yeah ports are a huge draw the new ones id be visiting are st vincent, dominica and antigua, i know antigua be lovly what are the other two like
-
Kieth its not that its a big deal but im sure you may find it uncomftable etc if you were on a 18-30s cruise
-
Yeah think ill be sticking with britannia its a caribbean cruise 2 week in november may be a mix of ages
-
certainly swaying towards britannia more it seems lovely very modern of course as its new and its still a bigger ship, im sure there would be plenty to do and a younger age group aswell as older
-
dont worry im not having a go i know some stay on the ship just saying i couldnt i love to get off and explore thats what we go for :p
