Can I wear a Canadian Tuxedo?

The cruise was really great. The Atlantide restaurant was really excellent and in my mind takes the place of the MDR. The dress code is specific to the restaurant.
I asked if i could order a lobster so that I could make a surf and turf. They said there would be no special orders (even 24 hours ahead). However, the menu is very large. VEAL CHOP IS AWESOME!
If you can't get the lobster, just order the prawns. They're great and huge!
More later!!

I suggest you board around noon and go have a very pleasant lunch.

I will be boarding the Muse on April 3rd in Genoa. I'll try to find out the real answer.

Terrific report so far. As I'll likely never do a WC, this is great to read :)

Wes,
Omg. Beyond fantastic.
Cruise has been excellent. Excursions as expected. Not a chaos getting on busses from theater. Service good, similar to SS. Didn't care for only show we saw. Stayed 4 minutes. Not my thing.
Everyone is nice, crew and guests. But guests are all agents, media etc.

We just ate at Pacific rim. I'm not exaggerating, it was one of my best meals ever. The cod was fantastic as was the lobster tempora and omg omg the the Korean lamb chop was beyond fantastic. Omg

Will advise when I return to suite

I think the chef and she's assisted by staff, but let me double check...

Whatever voice says is correct. I took pics of stadium kitchen and will upload tonight. Chef is great!
-
The cooking stadium is fantastic as well as their foodie programs. If you like to cook, book this ship!

I've sent links to Wes of my video of the other 2 top suites. Very nice. I got video of the gym as well and will process and post later. Even Wes would be happy!

Cabins were open on Sea day. I'll take video and photo today after returning from Aix-en-Provence

Peggy, are you talking about the pic from the men's room? You can see a urinal in corner? If that one, it is a framed piece of art that they hadn't unwrapped or hung. There's another pic from earlier that shows the pod detergent provided in laundry.

Will post a few more tonight. Spent all day in pool. Will get to take pics of gym and some other areas. Didn't go to tour all the suites today. Too busy relaxing in pool. Nothing beats a sea day. Great dinner in mdr. Made own surf and turf with rib eye, lobster, shrimp and scallops. Finished with soufflé.

I'm on board now. I've given a link to my Google photo album to! Friend and he said he'd post. Super nice ship!

I like to look at http://www.rome2rio.com to get estimates for travel expenses.

Markham,
Everyone gets a butler on SS. We're all special :)
I've never used the butler for unpacking as my wife would kill me.

Thanks. I've already done that. Within a few minutes of my post I had several offers :)
Just as a note to others, using this promo then excludes you from getting the Amex Platinum promotion also. You can't stack them. I took the 1st time referral.
I was more talking about special treats or things that can be done on the cruise. Any signature dishes that might not be on the menu?
-
We are new to Seabourn, having sailed 3x with Silversea. We will be sailing on the Sojourn this summer from Barcelona to Monte Carlo.
Are there any signature dishes that we should look for? Would they make a special dinner party for us? On our last SS cruise, we had a special dinner party for friends we made on the cruise. The dinner party included cocktails and appetizers in the bar plus our own Chinese Dinner (family style of many entrees) in the MDR.
What I'd like to avoid is getting off the ship and then realizing that I could have gotten XY or Z if only I had known to ask...
Thanks for your advice!
-
I might have missed that one, but after reading it, i wasn't sure what ship it was referring to...
Have you read Jenisallas's post 62 on this thread. She had provided detailed updated. Info -
My wife and I are going on the Sojourn July 2016 from Barcelona to Monte Carlo. We have never been on Seabourn, but have done three cruises with Silversea.
Can someone explain or point me to an explanation of what we can expect regarding the food this summer. Especially interested about the TK experiences. Is it every night, the entire menu, at one restaurant? Or only some dishes some nights? Burger at pool?
Thanks and sorry if this has been asked a few times, but I didn't see it.
