We love the room on a bowling alley balcony and have one booked next month on our Alaska cruise (same room we had when the ship was out of Tampa) Can't wait!

Unless they have change something in the last year, you will be platinum as soon as you arrive. It should show up as priority on your boarding pass as soon as your cruise is paid in full. I reached platinum on the second leg of a b2b and my card was platinum both legs of the cruise. :)

Contemplating ordering the day pass for the Hilton but wanted to know if anyone knows if the pool is heated? It's only supposed to be in the 70's next week when we go and that might be too chilly to swim.

According to the website for the hotel the pool is heated. " The Patio Bar and Grille has the best views of the Harbour during the day time. Offering lite snacks, all American favorites and a full service bar, this convenient and charming outlet is located outside near to the hotel's fresh water heated pool and lush gardens. "

We were on the Legend in Dec 2011. There was a pool table at the edge of the casino, no one was playing however.

Oops, how did I miss a pool table?!? Confirmed with my dh, he remembers the pool table. We love pool so I can't believe I missed it!

Are the Pool Tables still there? They were just outside the Casino.

I don't think so. We cruise last year and there weren't any pool tables outside the casino

The post early on here about the blind man not bringing his service dog on cruises because of the problem with the untrained dogs made me so sad!! He has to deal with enough extra challenges without adding untrained dogs to the mix!!!!!!!!!!

Dogs are awesome creatures and they provide SO MANY services to people! (When I was a kid out alone with my dog, two guys in a car stopped in the street to asked me for directions and were giving off some major bad vibes. I hightailed to get away from them and as I was leaving I heard the car door open behind me, which scared the snot out of me, but my dog leaped back and got aggresive; car door slammed and they took off. Who needed a body guard when I had my dog :D )

Everyone here seems to be in agreement: you can tell a real service dog by how they act in public and dogs should never be fed from the table buffet.

I would happily cruise with dozens of real service dogs but not everyone's favorite family pet.

They really need to fix this problem with certification. Maybe the certification process should require dogs to pass some type of service training before certification?

Exactly! We always get back early and this is why I limit my drinking off ship (which is a bummer in Cozumel since we go to an all-inclusive).

My DH and DS love watching from the balcony in Cozumel. I think its one of DSs favorite activites on the ship.
