We returned this Monday from a week's cruise on the Spirit. You definitely need a visa if you are flying into or out of Turkey. Best to get the visa online before you go, and make sure you use the official site. The transit arrangement for cruise passengers ended last year

Just so nice to hear positive things for a change. Always been treated well whilst on the Dream, and Captain John is indeed a very nice man

A disappointment that he has to stay in hospital longer than anticipated, but wishing him a good, speedy recovery. Take care Campolady, we are all thinking about you

Oh dear, only just read this, what a worry for you. Hoping he's responding to treatment, and sending you both my best wishes. Take care

We all got on really well on our cruise.

Was onboard last month, and there are kettles in all cabins now. There are Nescafe sachets, both ordinary and decaf, and teabags in the cabin, though I brought our own Tetley bags

We sailed on the ship just before Christmas and had a great cruise. Entertainment was fantastic, we found the food fine, had the nicest cabin stewards we've ever had on a Thomson cruise (done 16 now) and really wouldn't hesitate to return. I realise judging by reports that some people had problems over the festive season, but think it was just a blip and we didn't really have any problems, other than finding the aircon was too cold in the cabin

Can't make up my mind :(

Oh, that sounds lovely. Love La Gomera but not visited Valle de Rey yet, and really pleased to have the chance to visit el Hierro

We did ours on the 27 September at 9.30 pm, before sailing

Great review Julie. I'm SO glad you had a great cruise

Can't say I'm too happy about it. We cruise with Thomsons as it's been a predominantly British cruise experience, and have to pay £199 each for our Dream drinks package on Cuban Fusion, despite booking 13 months before our cruise. If I'm going to get second class treatment then perhaps it's time to look at other companies.

Nice review Linda and certainly making me feel it's time to try Fred.

Kruzseeka, what a wonderful post. Well done.
Security tag glue
in Marella Cruises (formerly Thomson)

Definitely digging out the duck tape then. Our security tags are never intact when we next see the cases either, so absolutely useless, as well as leaving the sticky mess on the side of the case too
