  1. We will be going on the Getaway in a couple of weeks and I have a couple of questions.

    1. I have two 8 year old kids, are they aloud to order from the adult menu in the MDR (savor, taste or tropicana)?

    2. We have a balcony room, is there a fridge in these rooms?

    3. If kids club is closed from 5 to 7 and you reserve for 2 to the Levity entertainment for 7pm - how do you go about waiting in line for the show and not losing your reservation and bringing your kids to the kids club... will they let the person in to the show after 7pm?

    4. How or where do the Sliming happen, is it written in the dailies?

    thanks so much

  2. When you board the ship and go through Xray, there is a desk there where they will charge you the $15 corkage fee (as they call it) The charge will go on your ship account and a sticker will be placed on the bottle or bottles of wine. You can then take them anywhere you want, to dinner, drink in your cabin, drink at a bar or whatever your choice is.

I guess if you bring it to the bar, they will give you a glass to drink it out of?

  3. thanks.

No we would pay for the UBP, its not one of the free offers.

I didnt know about the buy a bucket of 6 and pay for 5... I think that would be our best bet because I doubt (I hope not) that he could drink 13 drinks a day, every day, to get our moneys worth...

Thanks so much I love you guys!!

  4. When you perchase the UBP does that entitle you to unlimited beer everywhere? ex: dining rooms, casino...

My husband is a budweiser drinker and wondering if it worth it for us to get the UBP, I hardly drink (about 5 to 6 glasses of wine for the week).

Does anyone know how much budweiser bottles go for on the getaway?

    Thanks

  5. Does anyone know if there is a way to convert the prices on the website from US to Canadian?

The reason I ask this is that in order to check for price drops, it would be best to compare apples with apples.

I could book the cruise with USD but paying with a Canadian Visa, I end up paying the conversion fee and then a 2% service charge on top of that.

(side note: a few months ago - has been posted before: US fees = CDN fess)

(side side note: today is the last day for the OBC credit of $100 for a balcony room, but it's not in addition to the latitude OBC of $50 - it's one or the other...kinda of stupid - then what's the benefit of being a latitude member???)

I saw somewhere on this site, that if you call NCL to book and you ask them... it will be dollar for dollar.

I want to book a cruise today, and i am looking for that thread and I can not find it.
