Just got ours for October 2017 on Glory...thanks !!
-
535 days till Glory in room 9201 - Scenic Ocean View baby!! Oh yea!!
-
Ha! Great post!!! :D
-
It's $82 now. A little more than last year when it was $76 but still a great deal with all of the same stuff included.
I also noticed the plain white Carnival t's for $5, towels for $12, etc.
Thanks for letting us know...I would have never even thought to look at the shops !!
-
This is actually a great deal with the $25 bar credit and $10 photo credit. Plus we're getting the bottomless bubbles package which includes juices and you know what that means....MIMOSAS !!! :D
-
We were able to snag this room (9200) for our October 2017 Halloween cruise on Glory. As with other posters, we had to book through our PVP since the room didn't show available on the website. Now we're just trying to figure out a way to monitor the price since we can't do a mock booking. We have an alert set on the fish site....not sure if it will report it.

We booked a 2017 Eastern Caribbean halloween sailing on Glory earlier today. Best of all, we were able to snag the last remaining (6K) scenic grand ocean view cabin that everyone's been raving about!! Super excited ! :D
-
Hopefully it will get better...we just snagged a sweet scenic grand ocean view room during halloween week 2017. :D

Going on CB in November and was looking for a great review with pics since its our first time on Princess. Your review was impeccable and the pictures are perfect!! Thank you from one trekkie to another!! Bravo !!

Hi!
We will be leaving on Sunday aboard the Caribbean Princess and our first port is Cozamel, Mexico. There is an excursion listed for Playa Mia Beach Break and Lunch($75.95 ea.) which includes bus ride then 4 hours on the Island which includes a International Buffet and domestic "Open Bar". We were just curious if anyone has taken this excursion and could tell us about it. Is the food decent at the buffet and is the "Open Bar" available for the whole 4 hours you are there or just certain times? Can you order only certain mixed drinks? There is a very similar one listed for Passion Island in Cozumel that looked good too. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!! :)
I know its a bit late but we did this excursion thru RCI and it was awesome!!! They wait on you hand and foot...there is masseuse should you want a massage under the palm trees, a photographer to capture the excursion (you get a couple poses and its placed in one of those paper frames marked Cozumel...and of the course the open bar is just that ...OPEN. They have 3 "attendants" that will get you what ever you desire...we even got the recipe for both Mexican sangria's they serve ....and lastly the beach was beautiful and the water was warm and clear....we are actually thinking of doing it again in November.... :D

There was a red vs blue night (Blue Cantina vs Red Frog Pub) and I think there was also a white night.
These activities were very late at night so we did not participate!
Your right...it was the Red Frog vs. Blue Iguana party (cocktail mixing contest) and a electric white pool deck dance party...it was fun!!:D

I'm interested in seeing the Conquest daily newsletter (I know it's not the Capers but can't remember the name) that includes the ports of Falmouth, GC and Cozumel. If you have these, could you please post for me.
Thanks,
Vee
We just got back yesterday from Conquest.I have the Fun Times for the entire 6 days...will scan and post by the end of the week....elegant night was Tuesday (first sea day) and Thursday (Cozumel).

Just back from Conquest and was in ocean view cabin 1389....it was really bad. On top of the noise from the engine room all night long, regardless of the hour, the entire floor smelled like sewage all week. We loved the cruise, the food was great, staff went above and beyond, and fellow passengers for the most part were really kewl and courteous, but this was definitely a hamper on our fun times. Also, they really need to do something about the ventilation in the casino...the cigarette smoke is extremely overpowering...maybe because its an older ship...not sure. But regardless, we will cruise with them again, but balcony only on a newer ship from now on.:)

I went through the same thing. POM parking is outrageous. I used United Airport Parking, they also go by CBM and Premier. I thought about it for a long time as I read alot of mixed reviews with nothing really current. We returned last week and they were fantastic. I paid $89.92 for a week, saved $50.00. They picked us up when we parked the car. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes for a van to the port as we had just missed one. When we returned we waited perhaps 5 minutes. Everyone was friendly and courteous. The only thing that was strange is that it wasn't well marked. Sign just says "Cruise Parking." Address is 1415 NE 2nd Avenue, Miami, 33132. Info they sent me said most GPS units cannot find it. Mine had no problem and I have nothing fancy, just your basic Tom Tom. Bottom line, I was concerned, but in the end very please that I saved $50.00 and I would not hesitate to use them again. Your car is in a secure, multi-level parking deck.
100 % agree!!! We just used them (premier cruise parking) for our 11/28 - 12/2 cruise out of Miami. Definitely will use again September 2012. No question.:D

We just returned today from our cruise and booked parking through Global Airport Parking POM- they give an option for secure garage parking which it totally is. I believe the company that you actually book with is total auto rent and Global is just a booking agent.
The shuttle was great!! Within 10 mins of parking the care we were on our way to the port and coming home, we were picked up in about 10 mins and on the road heading home within 45 mins from leaving the boat. There was no telephone # to call when you disembark since the shuttles run every 15 to 20 mins. They do provide a number to call in case of any problems though.
I would highly recommend them. I believe its 7 or 8 per day, but with parking in a secure garage. Its well worth the money knowing that the car is safe and the shuttle is reliable. Oh, and you take your keys with you!!
*** CORRECTION*** The booking agent was Global Airport Parking - the garage we chose was through Premier Cruise Parking. Total Auto Rent was reflected on the receipt and paperwork received when we checked in, so I'm assuming they are each owned by the same person and they simply use the same receipts.
-
Is this a garage or a surface lot?
Garage - 6 stories.
-
Premier Cruise Parking is the only garage offered through Global website. Total Auto Rent is an uncovered lot and is valet, not self.
Didn't you say the van was from Premier?
Yes the van's logo said premier parking. Strange...the documents we received said total auto rent on them. But in any event, I just went to the website and did a inquiry....we booked through premier cruise parking. Your correct....total auto rent is the valet parking. Sorry for that. Maybe they are owned by the same person.
-
Thanks so much. So the shuttles were free both ways?
Sure were... its included in the price. They are white vans that seat 10 with the "premier" logo on them.

We went with Total Auto Rent. It was the only one that offered garage parking....the others give the description that its a gated or fenced in lot.
It was a 6 story garage that we parked in very secure.
-
Since Globalairportparking is just a booking machine for multiple parking facilities, which one did you pick? When I do a query I get to pick from Cheap Cruise Parking, Premier and Total Auto Rent.
Please clarify which one you used, and whether it was a garage or outside lot.
Thanks.

We just returned today from our cruise and would highly recommend this off site parking. Its the garage located 1415 NE 2nd Avenue, Miami. TO PORT: The shuttle was waiting for us when we were unloading our luggage from the car. Within 10 mins. we were on our way to the POM. RETURN FROM PORT: Met the shuttle on the center island across from the terminal - opposite side of the taxis. Shuttle arrived very fast and we were on the road home within 45 mins. from pick up.
Never a problem!! Will definitively use them again. www global airport parking dot com
