We just got back from Avalon's Rhone/Saone cruise, and I've scanned the dailies. If you click on the link below, they should come up. I always love it when someone posts these because it's an invaluable aide in planning port time, etc.

 

I got too busy having fun to continue posting while on the cruise, but I'll try to finish up my trip description next week.

 

When looking at the dailies, remember that river conditions and other factors may cause your cruise to look different, in other words, your mileage may vary! Let me know if you have problems with the link.

Thanks so much for posting these, and I'm glad you chose being busy on your cruise to posting here during your vacation. Look forward to reading the dailies and hearing more later. It will really help us plan for sure...hope you had an amazing time!:cool:

Just curious. Is this "sharing required" in open dining a new phenomena?

You are quite welcome. Oh I do believe in dreams. If you would have asked me 1 year ago if I would ever go on a cruise my answer would have been NEVER lol. Look at me now ;)

In 6 days our dream of visiting Venice will come true...thanks for whetting my appetite even more! Looking forward to reading more and viewing more photos...lovely family memories for you and your daughter!

That night we decided to eat at Jasmine Garden. We ate there twice on the other cruise and enjoyed it. Once again, it was a good meal. The service was great and the hostess remembered us from the dining room earlier. By name. I was very impressed. It turns out she was the regular hostess there and throughout the cruise would talk to us whenever we passed by. It was a nice touch of customer service and one that NCL seems to excel at. After dinner, I think we just walked around a bit and then headed back to the cabin for some TV and much needed sleep.

Thank you for the visuals and commentary...so looking forward to this cruise next month...lots of good info...won't be going into things so blind!
