I've never booked from carnival. Every port we've been to we just go to bus, place or person and ask if we can join. We pay US cash and get on with all the other carnival people. It's usually 1/3 of the cost of carnival. Swam with dolphins for less than $40pp.

Great review! I enjoyed it. Keep it coming. I am sailing Sunday, I am hoping we get to stay eastern too. Ophleia is on her way. Keeping my fingers crossed. Just think of those that skipped out on there cruise and found out later is stayed Eastern. hee hee.

Hello, I have heard that if you hit 1500 points in the casino, you get free drinks the rest of the cruise with the drinks on us deal. How much cash did you actually dish out before you hit the 1500? I have heard of people hiting it the first night on penny slots but just wondered how much you have actually put into machine. If we have to spend $1500 to get 1500 points, its not really a deal to us because we won't drink $1500 in drinks. Thanks for your help!

Hello, My hubby really likes Pepsi with his meals. Carnival only sells coke. Can he bring a can of Pepsi into the dining room to drink with his meal or would that look tacky and frowned upon? Don't want to look rude but he would prefer Pepsi instead of buying a coke.

I have seen the new blowfish ones somewhere on these boards. THey are orange round fish and super cute. If I find them, I will post pictures.

ok ,so we have this room booked. I am really excited but having the lights off is really dumb. We are above the bridge. We paid for the room, what are they going to do...walk upstairs and tell us "lights off". HA! I need to see to get ready for bed. And if I want the blinds open, the blinds will be open. That is why I booked that room. Too be able to see out the windows.

I'm booked there in September, someone please post some pictures and keep this tread going! I hear these rooms are great. When I called Carnival, she said they are bigger than all balcony rooms and some suites. They are only $8.20 more! Book it! They are selling out quick!
