Royal and Carnival will shortly follow. No one wants to be the last man standing.
-
It would be great if that is the case because right now Royal Caribbean is on my bad side with this policy.

I know they are fake. They are always fake sales but if you get a FCC for cancelling your cruise, you will end up paying more under the new sale since Guest 1 and Guest 2 would both be the same price, ex. $2000 Total Cruise Fare. Guest 1-$1000, Guest 2-$1000. Under previous sale Guest 1would be $1,200 Guest 2- $800 or something similar to that so now your FCC reflects those prices so Guest 2 would have to pay more and guest 1 would have extra to use. It's a bold move by Royal to get more money from guest.

Anyone notice they don't have a buy one get one 50%/60% and changed to Friends and Family after issuing the FCC so now you have to pay more?

I am currently on Freedom of the Seas, Royal Caribbean. Our captain said we are delayed as well as our ship helped search for the missing person. Our captain said around 7am they recovered the body.

I usually receive the texts from Verizon when I get in range of an island cell phone provider.
Good call on the emojis. I did not know that was MMS. Unfortunately not all my messages have had that, so I don't think that's my issue.

I do not purchase the ships Wifi. I usually never had a problem until the last two cruises. One was on Liberty last May and the last one was Freedom in January. It was on two separate phones so I know that's not the issue. I do receive the texts when I get to the islands

I never try to make calls. I feel like I may have received a couple calls when I can't get text. I plan to call Verizon support on my next cruise when it doesn't work but I thought I'd check first to see if anyone else had this problem.

I normally turn all data off while on the cruise ship but keep texting and voice on.
-
I am on Verizon. What do you mean they discontinued data over Cellular at Sea? I would think a normal SMS would come through but those don't either.

Hello,
Has anyone else had trouble receiving text messages while onboard with an IPhone? I don't get any text while at sea but once I get to an island, all my messages will come through. Has anyone else experienced this? I have the IPhone 7. I prefer to receive any messages I get regardless of cost so I am curious if anyone else has experienced this and what the solution was.

For the love of grammar, please stop responding to this thread so that I don't have to keep cringing at the title every time I pull up this forum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Makes one wonder if some people did not get any at a later sitting . Would your friend eat that many in a restaurant if he had to pay for them????
No she would not.
-
:eek::eek::eek: 8?
Is this person a competitive eater?:D:D
You would think so but nope, she just looked forward to the lobster tails and forewarned the waiter multiple times.
-
I don't eat them so I am not sure how good/bad they are but my mother and friend who have eaten them in the past claimed how tough they were but said they were absolutely great this past time.
-
In one dinner...my friend had 8 plus 2 to go, so I am curious how many others have ate at one dinner.
-
Curious....
How many lobster tails have you ate in the MDR?

Talked to a manager on board yesterday, he said it could be June but for sure by mid-late 2016

I just paid 404 for the premium package on the Liberty for 7 nights

I've done January, February, March and April for cruises. April was by far the best for weather. We had a couple bad times for weather on the cruises from Jan-Mar where we couldn't even use the pool but instead the hot tub was the best spot. Also we couldn't sit out because it was just too chilly. I prefer to go when I know I have a much better chance for warmer weather rather than being disappointed by chilly weather. It is much better than the snow and cold but still want to have good weather to enjoy the pool.
