I see no answers but maybe you can help me as I have the same question about taking the 11  hour tour to Mont Saint Michele from Rouen.  Did you do it?  If so, were you able to take the evening excursion in Rouen? Going in May. 

The ship excursion to Mont Saint Michel leaves from Rouen. It is an 11 hour tour. Does anyone know whether this lengthy tour would preclude visiting the town of Rouen, either with the evening excursion to the cathedral or just walking around on our own?

On multiple Windstar cruises I have almost always worn a sport coat to dinner. With collared shirt or polo shirt. I just feel better that way. Have seen lots of men in sport coats, but not the majority.  You won’t feel out of place either way. 

The Yacht Club is another option. Always quiet and never crowded. I have never seen more than a few people there. Don't think the ship gets many studiers. Kudos to them!!!

Planning Norwegian Fjord cruise in July (Windstar-Star Pride). Some of the shore excursions offer Ribboat trips up into the fjords and are listed as 'moderate to strenuous activity.'

What could be strenuous? Is it hard to get in and out??

So it seems the cruise line may have about $1000 to 'play with' on a 4-5K cruise price. Why does the cruise line not have the flexibility to offer $500 discount or OBC to passengers who make their own arrangements?? That would seem to be a win-win. I assume it may violate a part of their contract with TAs??

I have been on 4 Windstar cruises. First one booked through travel agent; all others directly from Windstar.I prefer to handle it all myself. But is there any price differential??? ie, are there any discounts, etc, available to travel agents that are not available to me?? Considering Italy and Dalmation Coast this June.

Thanks for posting this. I am on Windstar cruise leaving Istanbul 5/28 and was booked on Delta JFK to IST 5/25. Checked Delta website and trip still showed as confirmed.. Called Delta and found out my flight was, indeed, cancelled. No call no email, etc. Rebooked throughAmsterdam on KLM. Now a little nervous! If Delta won't go there, should I??? But still planning to!!

On my last Windstar cruise in Caribbean in January,I forgot to bring the documents that had been mailed to e. Nobody even asked for them; no problem.

My wife and daughter are going to be on the Wind Spirit for Tahiti sailing in May. I have been on Wind Surf 3 times and a highlight has always been Sail Away and music in the Compass Rose with a beautiful tropical drink. Wow; nothing better! Where is the best place on the And Spirit to enjoy this? Pool bar? Lounge? Although I am envious, I am trying to help them to enjoy this experience!

Just did that cruise a month ago (Jan 4). We took the ship's excursion to the Baths and it worked out fine. Was well worth it and really the only convenient way to do it. It was the only excursion we did; took taxi to a beach everywhere else. You will have a great time; this is a fantastic itinerary! BTW, the Baths were not crowded when we were there.

I am going on a Uniworld cruise starting in Prague and then from Nuremburg to Frankfurt December 5 through December 15th.

Question: I wonder if anyone has any thoughts on fur coats V.S. down coats on the Christmas Markets cruise. I have both and don't know which one would be best. My fur is a short-haired coat and therefore not as heavy as a long-haired fur. However, it is very long ( almost ankle length ).

The down coat is substantial also, but knee length, to be worn with high boots.

I would appreciate your comments.

I plan to be one the Jan 4; 2014 sailing; really excited about it. The excursion to Anegada sounds fascinating. But I have never been to the BVI and have never seen the Baths. I don't think it's possible to do both. Any recommendations from people who have done either or both??

So, if you have the package and the wine per glass limit is $11.50; and you order a $12 glass of wine; do you pay $12.00 or 50 cents?
