  1. My stepson LOVED Circle C a few years ago. He went every night and closed it down. LOL. My daughter is now old enough to go and cannot wait, since she heard how fun it was from him. We are also going on the Dream for spring break (April 1-8) and we will have 2 in Circle C and 1 on Club O2. All are excited to go to meet new friends!

  2. HI all! I have a cruise booked for next April on the Dream in a cove balcony with my DH, DD, DS, and myself. It turns out that DH and DS may not be going. However, DD and I will still be able to.

Is there a penalty for cancelling 2 passengers from the cabin? Will I lose my cabin? I really want to keep it!

If it makes a difference, I am booked under ES and my final payment is not due until January.

Thanks for any info or advice!!

  3. We were in one of these cabins last year on the Magic. They are called Deluxe Oceanview. We really enjoyed the second bathroom! I believe the Dream and Breeze have them as well. And I would assume that the Vista and Hoizon also have them.

  4. I have heard Carnival being referred to as "Walmart of the Seas" on several occasions, so we decided to try a different line this year, since we had only been on Carnival and had nothing to compare it to, but we knew we have always loved Carnival.

So we just got back from our Norwegian cruise. We were completely bored. The crew was rude. The food was hit or miss (we actually preferred the buffet to the MDR). They did not have comedy clubs (which we love). Other than the beautiful ports, we were just not impressed. Now don't get me wrong, we didn't have an awful time, just not as good as we were used to.

So needless to say, we have decided to stick with Carnival since we have never had these issues, and are already planning our next 2 cruises with them.

    Guess we just like Walmart!!!;p

  5. I also have the 50 photo promo on our April cruise. It states "50 standard photos". What size is the standard? Do they print them all the same size?

Also, I have only sailed Carnival in the past and they put all the pics on the wall and you have to find yours. Is this the way NCL does it also, or do they have the digital system? I'm on the Dawn if that makes a difference. Thanks.

  6. Hi everyone. We just booked our next cruise on the NCL Dawn in April 2017. We will be on the last cruise out of NOLA before it goes to Boston for the summer. We have been on Carnival a couple times and have NEVER been on NCL. I was wondering if ya'll could help me with some of the differences to expect once onboard. Things you like more or dislike more? Or just things to look our for or that is noteworthy. Any info or advice is very much appreciated!! We are looking forward to our cruise.

Also, if it makes a difference, it will be myself and my husband brining our 2 18 year old children (daughter and step-son)and a friend of my daughter's.

  7. Sorry if this is already out here, but I am new to NCL. I have been on Carnival twice, but looking at a NCL cruise for April 2017. On Carnival, we could prepay our gratuities to room steward, wait staff, etc but I don't see this on NCL. Are the prepaid gratuities only for the Drink and Dining packages? What about the room stewards and wait staff and such???

  8. Thanks everyone! I took your advice and called the cruise line and as someone on here stated, yes they will allow it, our rooms just have to be next to each other. Just thought I would let everyone know in case anyone else has a similar situation. Thanks for all the replies!
