Have been on 2 cruises and going on another in 2 1/2 weeks. Both cruises were not filled to passenger capacity; no lines.
Hate wearing those face diapers!
The “Can’t Do Commonsense” (CDC) now requiring Covid test 2 days before instead of the previous 3 days. Such an inconvenience.
-
What’s all this “breakthrough” with the people who have had the vaccine???
Was not it to prevent getting the virus???
-
CDC = Can’t Do Commonsense
or
CDC = Can’t Do Cruises

Question: If you are fully vaccinated, why would it matter if you come in contact with a person not vaccinated? Does not your vaccination prevent you from COVID?

So how many people will be driving to the port instead of taking a “super spreader” flight?
-
So it appears that the letters of CDC represents the words of
“Can’t Do Cruises”

No Masks, Please. No Requirement for the Experimental shot.

So if we get the vaccine, we won't have to wear masks?
-
Help!
If one gets the vaccination, Why do you have to still wear a mask?
Also, does not the vaccination keep you from getting the virus?

I see an update yesterday March 30, that they are req. fully vaccinated or negative test before embarkation which I find comforting.
I’m confused:? Being vaccinated does not prevent one from getting the virus, so how is that comforting?

For us to cruise we need to get rid of that “Can’t Do Cruise” group!
(CDC) -
The experimental vaccine does not prevent one from getting the virus and the vaccine does not prevent one from spreading the virus. The vaccine makers say that it would lessen your symptoms if you get the virus.

$80 Sunscape Splash Day Pass with transportation, just do a web search as many vendors sponsor this.

Norwegian has changed what you can bring on-board  This change was made about 4-5 months ago. Per Norwegian's policy "Passenger is not allowed to bring on board the vessel any alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages of any kind including water, soda and juices etc.
I was not a happy camper when they made this change! On my last cruise with Norwegian Jan 9th 2016 I was able to bring Water & Soda.
Has anyone recently taken any water or soda on a Norwegian cruise.
I wonder how well they check the bags out of Tampa?

Have been to Progreso twice - next time in June 2015 thinking of doing a tour with: http://autoprogreso.com/Sales.html (AutoProgreso tours) to the beach for $35 per person. Will do if my better half agrees.

I saw on one of the post that Great Bay Beach water had pollution problems; the post was in August 2014

We'll be on the Valor on Oct 19th too. First time on the Valor, but I think this will be my 6th time doing a southern Caribbean itinerary and 5th time sailing from San Juan.
See you onboard! (Guessing you are on the roll call page)

I like the Cove Balcony, except if the sea is rough with big waves, you get the "salt water spray" on you.
-
We getting on the Valor October 19th, also spending 2 full days before the cruise in Old San Juan.

1, Looking to be in San Juan for 3 nights around October15th, 2014. How many months or weeks should I start the bidding? If I start now, would not it be too early and not get a good rate? (In other words, what is the average time people start their bidding?)
2. Do the San Juan hotels have "off peak season" rates in October?
Thanks in Advance :) -
You could go to Burwood Beach or Time and Place. Its 5 to 10 minutes drive east of Falmouth port.
Someone told me that red Stripe beach is a part of Burwood beach but i am not sure. I know that
Red Stripe beach is close to the other beaches. Here is the Map https://maps.google.com/maps?client=firefox-a&channel=np&q=jamaica+falmouth+map&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x8eda33f8c3cfab6b:0x947175f8cf7d2536,Falmouth,+Jamaica&gl=us&ei=YhnHUvXYCMaisATj8oCgDQ&ved=0CCkQ8gEwAA.
Just zoom out a little and will see Time and place and Burwood beach. You can take a taxi from in town
but i am not sure if you can take a taxi from the pier.
I read somewhere that "Tony" who has the Time & Place has lost his lease and that in February it would no longer be open. Please correct me if I am wrong because I wanted to go there February 4th.
