She is fantastic - very attentive. She trained alongside David on the Getaway and now is has the position on the Pearl!

I don't know if you're in the Haven or not - but there were three Butlers that we absolutely loved, Charles (Night Butler), Ceasar, and L (I couldn't pronounce his name so I called him L) - they were fantastic. Also Jon Jon was our pool attendant where he would serve us breakfast, lunch and drinks in the Haven - it was just fantastic!

If you're out and about - stop by the Martini/Champagne bar and say "hi" to G-Kay and AJ - these two behind the bar are so much fun! They will challenge you with bar tricks if asked!

    Have a great cruise!

Sorry if I may have misspelled any names - this is a great line up - the Executive Team is very approachable and enjoys receiving feedback! This was one of my favorite of all times on NCL and this team made it GREAT!

  3. We are flying into FLL airport on a Friday evening at 7pm the night before our cruise. We are leaving out of the port of Miami on Saturday. Any suggestions for a hotel in FLL? We are hoping to find a hotel with shuttle service from airport and breakfast. Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

Not for sure of your budget - but check out The Pillars Resort - they can arrange car service for you and it is a spectacular hotel. There are different packages available as well.

  4. We were on the Regal last January and it's a beautiful ship. Lots of activities in the attirum - they really do a great job on the entertainment.

The Italian restaurant is awesome - it's so much better than the Steak restaurant onboard. Leonard was in charge and he was great.

    Enjoy your cruise!

  5. Well, it's been a few years since we stayed there - it was affiliated with Days Inn at the time - it really was one of the worst places we stayed. We actually cancelled our return stay and moved up the street to the Holiday Inn Express.

If you're looking for something on the intercoastal way where the water taxi stops and is nice - I recommend the Pillars Resort - this is a really nice place - it's well worth the price!

Staff, hotel, service and food are top notch!

  6. Our cruise leaves on a Sunday. Many of us are going to arrive Friday so we have a full day Saturday to explore. I've only done the tour that takes you through the canals. It was a lot of fun.

What things do you like to do when you are in Fort Lauderdale? Any favorite breakfast, lunch, and dinner restaurants? I'm going to check the restaurant pages that are on the stickie thread but would still appreciate some input.

    Thanks

We absolutely love to go to Cocounuts and have some Scooby Snacks - absolutely great place and service is awesome

  7. Has anyone traveled in either 14500 or 14000 in the past few months. I am booked in 14500 later this year and would love your recent review. Many old ones posted but nothing in the last 6 months or so. Any tips you could give would be great. We want to get the most out of this expeience.:D

We cruised in 14000 in 2012 and just cruised in January of this year in 14500. The main difference between the two is 14000 has somewhat of a kitchen area and 14500 has a bar area - other than that they are identical!

Here are some things we absolutely love about sailing in the Garden Villas:

    1. The priority Embarkation and Disembarkation - your butler or conceriege escorts you - of course -there's comments from other passengers because you typically move to the front of the lines. This include port days and tender usage.

    2. GV Amenities are the best - from breakfast and lunch at Cagneys to special treats from your butler - such as various snacks in your room when you return from a port stop.

    3. Your bar is stocked with your choice of 6 bottles of a selected beverage menu - but if you don't see want you'd like - just ask - you may be charged a little extra - but typically - it can be done. Not to mention you can select your mix to go with your beverage selection - don't forget to ask for a blender - you can make your own frozen cocktails!

    4. The space is unbelievable - the sun deck and the lower deck with the hot tub and sauna - it's fantastic. Also- there's a back door on your deck that you can use - just remember to lock it!!!

    5. Last - the reactions you get from other guest when you use your key card to access the 14th floor - our response was - we are pet handlers - really - it's clearly posted what's ont he 14th floor - but we made a game of it!

We will be posting a video on youtube shortly of the room - it will be under MrBPie123 - you can check out the one we did for 14000.

Let me know if you have any additional questions - would be happy to answer them!
