  1. Booked a suite and Traditional Dining.

We will not visit the dining room on the night of embarkation but will take advantage of the Suite-Specialty Dining perk, that's a given.

Is Club Class Dining really a worthwhile perk?

Can you utilize Club Class Dining any night you want (switch between CC and TD)?

    or do you

have to switch to Club Class Dining for the duration of the cruise? Thanks in advance

  2. Someone out there is bound to have a good answer for me....

I am looking at The Sapphire Princess Norwegian Fjords cruise next Summer (July '19).

The current itinerary shows two 'port' stops on the same day. Hellesylt from 8-10am, and then Geiranger from 12-6pm. Is the stop in/at Hellesylt really only 2 hrs? Is it really a stop? or is it a transit thru one fjord to the other?

  3. I got on My NCL this morning to make our Specialty restaurant reservations for our upcoming POA cruise (we are in a suite and have UDP) but La Cucina was not listed/available to reserve? Has anyone run into the same issue?

I know I can call and/or wait until we get on board and deal with this but I found it interesting that it was left off/out.

  4. I was looking at the deck plans trying to find a cabin that we would like and could not find out what is on deck 3. Looking at some cabins on deck 4 and would like to try and find out what might be below us. Any help?

Deck 3 is not accessible to passengers and is most likely crew area or mechanical in nature.

  5. Well, looking at the deck plans, the deck 11 staterooms you mentioned are separated from each other and have other staterooms with adjoining doors to rooms that you didn't mention, whereas the rooms on deck 12, which are rooms we will be in in June by the way, are more secluded with only 12510 having a neighbor and 12512 & 12510 are adjoining to each other. Don't know if that really answers any part of your question though.

12512 backs up to the Key West Bar & Grill. Deck 12 traffic should be less than deck 11 for the sheer number of staterooms on either level.

From what I've seen on the web it looks like these rooms have a tub shower.

I can't speak to motion. Sorry

  6. Geeze, just trying to help OP out. It's obvious he is not on POA. I don't know what stops his cruise is making and didn't think I should research that so I gave him the ports we stop at and whether or not they were tender ports. They might have been the same. You're acting like an older sibling. Stop.

  7. We are on Pride of America (NCL) in June and the only tender port we will have to deal with is Kona I believe. We stop in; Kahului (Maui), Hilo (Big Island), Kona (Big Island), and Nawiliwili (Kaui). They should also provide physical assistance for him/her getting from ship to tender and vice versa and should also lift/carry the scooter in and out of the tender (or lifeboat).

  8. You might have a difficult time getting in to the Hale Koa Luau since the hotel is for military families. I've heard people bought tickets only to be turned away because they didn't know or realize you needed to be military to attend.

  9. Is there a Italian restaurant on Pride of America? On the deck plans I see something called "Little Italy". I am able to make reservations now for the specialty restaurants and there is not an Italian one listed. If there is one can you only make reservations once onboard?

La Cucina is the Specialty Italian Venue at $15 /person
