  1. Pre-owned luxury accessories are no different than certified pre-owned luxury cars, except they hold their value better, and more often than not appreciate.  They'’ve been authenticated if you're purchasing from a reputable reseller, and not a random website.  What Goes Around is indeed reputable, and I look forward to browsing the inventory on my next cruise.

  2. We have a group of 30 family and friends sailing on Allure of Seas in October. Our amazing group coordinator just sent me the confirmation for our planned group events. We've been assigned a roped off section in the solarium at 7pm on boarding day for our welcome.

I find the solarium extremely warm and uncomfortable during the day, but can't recall spending much time there in the evenings. Does it get a bit more pleasant in the evenings? I and a number of the ladies in the group have reached the "heat sensitivity" stage if you catch my drift. Should I be concerned?

  3. Thanks everyone for your comments. I should have clarified our intent was not to pull a fast one and get non-suite guest onboard quicker. They are both first timers, and since we talked them into taking the cruise, we definitely want to be there for them. Our TA made it a point to say they could board with us, without our even asking. I was skeptical of that advice, and figured others have probably been in a similar situations, so to be safe, asked the question in this forum.

It's settled. We will be comfortable and avoid any embarrassment/ anxieties by boarding with them.

  4. We had 10240 last year on Oasis and are booked for 11644 in October, on Allure. We love the OS and took them over the CLS due to the HUGE balcony. Only downside is the long walk to the CK/SL, but that's not a deal breaker.

You will love the cabin and location.

I was able to surprise DW as she thought we were in a balcony on the Oasis. She is not a vacation planner so it was easy for me until we walked up to the door and she saw a door bell.

We have 11644 on the October 16th Allure sailing. Like you, we opted for the larger balcony over the location of the CLS. This is our second time in an OS, and we absolutely love it.

Last year we traveled with 14 other family and friends and it was spacious enough to entertain some evenings.

  5. We will be sailing Independence next month. Our departure date is the same as Oasis, so we won't be at terminal 18. Having done a similar departure on Liberty, I'm terrified to think we might have the same experience (close to 3hrs to board). I want to say that being the first Caribbean sailing after Liberty returned from the Med played a huge role, but I'm not 100% sure.

Really concerned as we'll have 17 first time and/or new to royal cruisers with us. I so want their experience to be a good one. Please share the good, bad and ugly. Suffice to say, if my last experience at Port Everglades had been my first, I'd be scorned for life.
