Awesome, thank you!

Best way to go is...valet park it right there at the terminal luggage drop off area. We just did it and it was great. The valet parking lot is adjacent to the terminal...locked, secured area. The cost was only $20 more than the garage for a 7 day cruise. On return we had our truck back within 2 minutes and no issues. Definitely recommend it and will do it again.

Was wondering if anyone could advise what the height of the port parking garage is. We will have a car top luggage carrier and need to be sure we can enter. Thanks!

We woke up on our last sea day to drizzle. Not only drizzle but wind and some pretty nippy temperatures. Our cabin was freezing so I quickly adjusted the temp.
** For anyone wondering, the control is directly above the bed on the ceiling . To make it warmer, just turn the dial towards the green arrow. This closes off some of the vents. Do the opposite for a cooler cabin.
We lingered in our cabin over our coffee and OJ and decided to head down for lunch instead of breakfast.
We found a seat towards the very back of the buffet....by the windows near the Pizza place.
Jay wanted something different so he asked the Deli guy if he would make him a turkey, lettuce and tomato on Ciabatta bread then toast it.....No problem. These guys were all great....I've been on some ships where the Deli would make no special accommodations. I couldn't decide between a Ham & Swiss on Rye or a hot dog from the grill. I try to get at least one hot dog per cruise and my time was running out. The Deli guy suggested just a half of a sandwich that way I could get a hot dog too.......Score !
The hot dogs on the grill are good. They even toast the buns. There is a little fixings area that had the usual mustard and catsup plus sauerkraut, chili, grilled onions, chopped onions and cheese sauce. I actually like my hot dog plain or with a touch of catsup so I was good to go.
***. I did see a lot of cruisers using this condiment area to top their tortilla chips and also their fries not to mention the burgers.
** I'm not a fan of the greasy Guy's Burgers and am really going to miss the grill area when it's gone and the 2.0 is implemented on this ship.
Just to the other side of the grill area was a Wok Stir Fry area. I'm sorry but I can't remember the exact name. It must have been popular as there were always guests going through the line.
I get my share of Asian food at home so I didn't try it this trip.
I returned to the table and Jay and I decided what we wanted to do with our day.

Do you know when the Paradise will get the 2.0 upgrades?

Lol.... There will be some unhappy winners!

It's under your online check-in. There's a tab to the left
Thanks firemanbobswife! I was going to ask where you pick a check in time.

The only problem with zip ties is that once they've been cut (if TSA wants in to check something) then you're left with unlocked luggage

I always use zip ties and carry extras with me. After watching those videos, guess locks or ties won't make any difference :/

Praying HMC survived. I agree with Cable Beach. Or stay on the ship and relax.
Any day on a ship is better than being home or at work!

150 days until Paradise.... Too long if you ask me. :/

You pay $5 once to use the chat feature on the app.
Looking forward to trying the chat feature, especially with so many in our group. Will be nice to keep up with everyone on board.

You can order it from room service and they also have it in the dinning room. Not available at the buffet on Lido deck though.
I would pack a few cans in my carry-on to be safe.

Such a sad world we live in. People just don't know how to act any more. I see it everyday. :(

This is walking to the ship from the parking lot
This must have been another lot close to the port. The port parking is right beside the ship. Not a far walk at all.

I will try to post all that I remember about it. We booked online before we left and at the time of booking they took a 20% deposit with the balance due at check in by cash or credit. There was 4 of us in my group and the taxi was 25 each way for all of us and we didn't have a problem finding a taxi either way. I cant speak of how much the drink were as we had water bottles with us. they do have a swim up bar at the main pool and a starbucks in the lobby. We were also happy to find out that the hotel had great Wi-Fi signal that worked all the way to the beach. the one downfall that i saw was that even though it is a hotel owned beach area they still had locals coming up and down the beach selling stuff and that did get a bit annoying at times. they do offer a higher priced day pass that includes food and drink i think and you can see that on the website. good luck and have a great time!
Great information, thanks.

Thank you for the information on Freeport. That will be one of the ports that we sail to. Haven't been there in years and had no idea what to do there. Will book the same excursion that you did. Thanks!
Great review and very informative.

Thanks for taking the time to write your wonderful and informative review. Great job!
Glad John Heald sent you something. I follow him on facebook and he is a great guy.
We are excited to see the Ecstasy is coming to Charleston soon. We love the fantasy class ships and have never sailed on her. I have booked a January cruise and will be sailing on the Fantasy one last time before she moves on.
Love cruising!! Thanks again!!

I like that it will fold up and be very compact. You can pack it empty and fill it with stuff for your return home. Handy gift, if you ask me. Don't need another journal.
