Just checking in... anyone on the Valor for the 10/17/15 sailing?
Yes DD and I, her mother, cruising with her friends, all nurses from Charlotte NC, I was born in Cincinatti in 58, but moved to California when I was two. Maybe I will be able to keep up, this was a quick notice for me since my DD's shipmate had to cancel. my DH and I plus friends have the same cruise booked for Nov 28th. Guess I can force myself to do two cruises month to month.:D There is a rollcall on this site if yiu have not found it yet. Never been on Valor. Cruised Fantasy 3x and Dream 2x.
Not long now.

This is the exact email I received, Thanks!! I look at like this if I get there and I don't have it oh well haven't had it in any of the previous 17 cruises, just thought we would try it. We will just go to the back of the line like normal.:cool:
I did contact Carnival, it was added manually so we will not have anything to print ahead of time. For those of you asking I first emailed shoreexcursions@carnival.com with my request, they emailed me back and told me to fwd my info to FttFinfo@carnival.com. I sent the email at 10 am by 3:05pm *(same day) they sent the response. Hope this helps CHEERS!!!
I emailed a month ago to same email, I had purchased 1 Fttf and could not
get another one and yesterday I also received the same email to bring as proof show porter to tag lugguge and continue to yhe Fttf line and charge will be billed to cabin card on file. Ready to go now..

In 2012 we were in 2284, great area, quiet above, we did not see much wildlife, but loved the cove balconie, we did have a ship that stayed to our side and at night it was beautiful to watch but it was far enough out that privacy was no issue. Enjoy that cove.

Ahoy Steve, this is Peggy and Charles, we stayed at La Quinta in 2013 and we sailed on the Dream with you and your Mom. I see we are doing the same cruise but a month apart.

We have not been on Magic but since it is repositioning next year it may be our 2016 cruise.
Loved the video! Also will be doing this itinerary 2nd time this Nov. on the Valor.

I have 2 cabins for November 2015, and one night back in April at midnight I caught 1 FTTF and doing this the last couple of years I have learn't you have to keep checking everyday, They release about 15 at a time. Never know when more will be released. I am still watching for my 1 more FTTF. Good Luck catching one.

When you looked every day to book was it there and said Sold Out or
was it not showing up at all.
Most cruises I have booked, FTTF shows as Sold Out
Our OCT cruise on the Valor from Port Canaveral it's not even offered.
You click on it and there is nothing.
has anyone else have this happen?
I'm platinum so no worries here but I have been looking for family members traveling with us
I caught 1 Fttf for our Nov 28 2015 cruise 2 months ago and I need another one, I also keep getting 0 of 0 excursions available for Port Canaveral maybe since the price has went up 10.00 their updating buf the theory they don't release until closer cruise date did not apply with Fttf purchase. I watch a couple times daily but have not seen anymore available yet.:rolleyes: Will keep checking.

Can the person that is offered a casino rate book more than 1 cabin at that rate? Say if my Mom got the Casino Rate offer, can she book herself and Dad a cabin and also another cabin for her friend and her hubby ? BTW Mom doesn't gamble just sitting here cruising the boards and just wondering. Can you imagine if you were able to ? Everyone would want to go at those prices
I called about this same scenario and found out I could not but that my husband also had the casino rate so we booked me and our female friend in my name and my husband and our male friend in his cabin which I was told is done all the time. So once we arrive we will just switch partners.:D

I caught one at midnight a couple of Saturdays ago, was only one left, we have 2 cabins booked for Nov 2015, and have checked frequently to catch another with no luck yet, so keep checking and good luck.;)

That's something that lives in my suitcase, and I replace it as necessary, but I don't like to use it on dress coats. It's better for things that can be laundered, not things that need dry cleaning.
I have the same one your talking about and always stick it in my husbands shoe so far so good and always hide it in the safe when not in the room.:rolleyes:

Saturday I got a bright yellow postcard telling me that I have a summons for jury duty on on Dec 3rd.. when I will be in Cozumel on the Elation. ... Court is closed today, so off I go when I wake up tomorrow (I work swing shift) to the courthouse with paperwork to show the conflict.
Since it is Municipal Court, I do not anticipate a problem, but I do have travel insurance that covers it, just in case.
Has anyone NOT been able to reschedule the jury duty?
Same thing happened to my Sister-in-law and she was rescheduled, about 2 weeks later she was summons again.

We are going on the Carnival Dream in 4 weeks in a cove balcony with the guest relations desk above us. I'll review when we get back.
Last year we were in 2284 cove balcony and no noise from above or below, great location and the coves are so private. This year I booked late and had to chance with 2397 which what research I found a person told me that stayed in this room said it was quiet. We will see because it is below the galley but most complaints come from the back of the boat. :rolleyes:

I always get the patch prescription from my family doctor before a cruise.
I get motion sickness watching waves rock on TV. Patch does its job, never a queasy stomach again. I also request after surgeries, stop or prevent same issues. Have a great cruise!
