Hey there cruise friends! I am reaching out and seeing what those of you have been around these ports recommend! My husband and I have been to Alaska before (4 years ago when we were 20 and 19) and we are so excited to go back! We did all of the traditional Alaska things last time, so this time we wanted to do more of a self led excursion. We are doing the Juneau Food Walking Tour and the Craft Brewery and Distillery Experience (Victoria, Canada) but we are wanting to do more self led things in Ketchikan and Skagway. We love food and beer....so were wanting to experience some awesome food and booze! 

Does anyone have an recommendations for MUSTS in either Ketchikan or Skagway? We are looking forward to another beautiful trip to Alaska!

I added a Panorama image. underwater video, and a couple land shots that I did with the Nikon AW100. Hope this helps.

Based on the info given by the OP they want a snorkeling camera that can take abuse on a zipline & be exposed to sand from a beach. In addition they want it to be usable in non cruise time too. ;).

I have been researching and have found these 3 waterproof cameras : Olympus TG2, Nikon AW110, and the Panasonic Lumix TS5. Does anyone have one of these?

If not does anyone have a great waterproof camera they recommend? I cruise on June 1st and want a camera to bring with me to the beach, and when we go to the Grand Cayman Turtle Farm, we also are going to swim with the Manatees and go Zip lining! I would like to find a camera that will do great in all of these situations plus I would like to be able to use it when I am not on vacation. Thanks to everyone in advance and I look over to your answers!:)

Oh and we have drove down to Galveston Port 2 times to meet a ship. I like the galveston port, and its not that bad of a drive.

I live in Missouri also! KC metro area, we are sailing out on the magic on June 1st but we are going on a different itinerary. This review was awesome by the way, I loved seeing the pictures! :)

The turtle farm isnt a beach but it was probably my favorite excursion I have ever been on :)

No porblem. I dont like running either but lost 20 pounds since downloaded app. My only complaint is the base you collect items for doesnt do anything. Id wish they turn it into a game.

I havent collected anything, I dont know if the 5k app does that. Only have gotten to the 1st mission. Will let everyone know. :)

Thank you so much for posting about zombie run, I think I am gonna really like it despite my dislike for running! Haha :)

I am definitely not a runner either but found two apps like this but not Zombies! Run 2. I found zombies! Run and Zombies! Run 5k. I would never want to run a 5k but that app was 1.99 vs 3.99 (play store says normally 7.99) so I figured if I bought the cheaper And ended up liking it (aka it got me to excersize) I would get the more expensive version.

So far I have done mission 1 and I have to admit I did enjoy it. Just when I wanted to quit the guy said in my ear that the zombies where right behind me! It gave me extra motivation to run and I DID IT!

The app even has the option to play your own music in between the guy talking to you!

So far I recommend zombies! Run 5k :)

Who is in the 2nd cabin?

We have my mom and dad in one. And me (I will be 17), my brother (12) and my grandma (66). Our cabins are across the hall from each other on deck 7.

When looking at ship reviews I see how people bought the F2TF pass and it was awesome. However when I look this up on carnivals website I can't find any info. Tonight is the first I have heard of it. So this may be a dumb question but how much is this pass and where can it be bought? If I am missing it on the site, can someone send me a link? Thanks in advance!

Has anyone been in this room (empress deck, room 44) and has pics? Or reviews? Or a simular room with pics? I will be in this room in 6 days and wanted to know:confused:
