I have two cabins booked. One for My wife, toddler and myself and the other for my MIL and 9yo son. I want Cheers but my wife does not drink enough to justify it. Is it possible to rearrange cabins so I’m the 2nd cabin and able to purchase cheers on my own? I imagine I could then go get another key made for the 1st cabin so I have access correct?

Cruise Critic friends... I normally drive to my cruises but this years cruise we have decided to fly. I like to bring back several bottles of liquor. What’s the rule regarding Liquor and planes? Is there a limit? Anyone have any tips for getting it home not broken?
Thanks in advance!

Like most I am also a big fan of the Joby Gorilla Pod. But I do have one problem with them. They are excellent when they are brand new but after a year or so of use the legs can easily pop out of the sockets and get worn. I have found a new solution and it is still a Joby product... Joby Action Clamp.
Picture of the two models available.
My other mounts that I take with me on cruises.

Awesome set up on the Balcony. I may try this. What deck where you on. I'll be on deck 11 and I'm worried I'd be to high up for my time lapse to really make it what I picture in my head.

Oh yes! I take My Nikon D600, Sony NEX 5, GoPro 3 and GoPro 4 and my iPhone is that counts. Plus most of my lenses. :D security always inspects that bag very heavily!

I just used a Joby GorillaPod which I wrapped around the balcony railing. No issues at all.

Awesome video! What time interval did you have your GoPro set too? And did you somehow have power going to your GoPro or just relied on the battery?

While this may work, I would also tether the camera to something just in case.

This Looks Perfect. If you experienced high winds, did it hold up okay? And how would you go about tethering it to something for safety?

Hey all sorry if this has been asked before but just bought a new GoPro and not real familiar with them yet but I'm no stranger to photography or photo equipment. But we just got upgrade to a balcony cabin and I would like to get time lapse video of sailways and port arrivals. The GoPro accessories market is MASSIVE so was wondering has anyone secured a GoPro to their balcony and what accessories did you use? Any help would be appreciated.

I will be stocking up on Sangsters! Does it come in multiple flavors? If so does anyone know which flavors are available?

I drink tequila but know nothing about it so this helps a lot. I will search these out while in port! Thanks!

I added Seven Fathoms and Big Black dick to my list. The Seven Fathoms interest me a lot so I may have to get a couple bottles of that. Thanks for the info.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any liquor that's exclusive to Grand Cayman or just any liquor you can't get back in the states? Im starting to build a liquor collection and I like getting those bottles that you can't get anywhere else and if you know where its sold thats a plus.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Awesome! Thanks everyone for your replies. The info about the first day family dance and the walkie talkies is a great idea. My son is a dancer so I'm sure we will be doing a lot of that. One reason we chose the Breeze is the amount of activities for kids. My son also wants to meet The Cat in The Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2. :D And thank goodness for good genes cause my son is just tall enough for the water slides
Another question for anyone that may know is we have a close friend of ours coming with us. They have their 7 year old coming along with them and he and my son are best friends as they say. I saw that Camp Carnival is split by age and that would put them in different groups. Has anyone had any success getting their kid into a higher age group?

Just booked a cruise for May 31st on the Breeze. This will be me and my wife's 5th cruise and we usually leave my son at home with relatives but after watching some videos of pervious cruises we've been on he became fixated on going with us this year so we decided to take him and boy was he excited. He's 5 and I was wondering if anyone has any tips on cruising with a 5 year old. Do kids others kids generally like camp carnival? Did you find a way to have equal alone/relaxation time as well has family time? Any tips or info would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks Tyler.

Don't miss anything with Fun Force! They are awesome and I wish Carnival would expand Fun Force to more ships!

Thank You all for your replies. If I do chose to add my son and decided to take him off later what happens to the money I spent on his cruise fare? Is it refunded or just lost?

I have searched the RC FAQ and searched these boards and didn't find an answer to my question so I hope someone can be of some help.
My wife and I are planning our first RC cruise on the Navigator of The Seas for September 28, 2014 problem is we are not sure if we plan on taking our 5 year old son. I was wondering can you add a guest after booking? Our 3 previous cruise have been on Carnival and If I remember right you could but you had to pay a fee of some sort plus the current rate.
Thanks in advance!
