For those who have gone on Homelands cruise, what was your experience with the WIFI reception??

Need to understand how long it would take to get from the Vasa Museum back to S167...Assume walk from Vasa back to ferry which would then drop at/near Slussen and walk back to S167. How much time should I allow to do that?

I would "second" this recommendation! I am assuming that Nippy Sweetie is referring to the one that he (was?) offered by Viking. We booked it on a whim and had a great time. There was a three piece "band" and lots of champagne and some tasty snacks as well! We cruised the waterways in and around Copenhagen and got a peek at some parts of the city that are off the "beaten track" ... It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience!
Sounds lovely. Was this the evening jazz cruise? Was the boat open or enclosed? Thanks for information

Rostock today in 30° temps. Amazing that Stockholm, Helsinki and now this part of Germany are all reporting highest temps since their records began (according to a guide). So much for us packing our warm clothes! Still, we're coping and just glad I remembered to pack my sunglasses.
Most of the passengers are off on a 12 hour trip to Berlin. Couldn't face that in these temps. Ship lovely and quiet!
Was wondering what, if any, Viking tour you did in Gdansk? I, too, do not plan to do Berlin trip, but considering the included Rostock walking tour. Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Too late to read this warning. We had a long hot wait on our bus from the airport until the organisers of the marathon realised that many bus loads of us needed to get to the ship!
Helsinki today. Very nice place and we enjoyed the panoramic tour.
Not enjoying the queuing on board though. Can only stand the World Cafe after the feeding frenzy has died down!!
Assume the Helsinki panoramic was the included tour?? Was it just a bus tour?

I am heading to the Baltic Area in late Sept(Norway/Sweden/Germany/Denmark,etc). Feel okay with what I have for layering on top, but still unsure of the type of pants/jeans/shoes/boots to wear for walking about in wet chilly weather. Any advice is appreciated.

Are you sure that it does not include an air deviation fee as well for not flying in on Day 1 and out on the last day of the cruise?
If you are flying out of Bergen I was told the air plus was definitely $150pp. Not happy about that.
Viking Homelands - September - temperatures on board
in Viking Ocean

Does anyone have any feedback on the temperatures on Viking during fall Homeland cruises? Is it too warm inside to plan to wear things like high neck, long sleeve sweaters to evening meals, etc?
