Thanks!! I didn't know it is possible to cancel, when do they charge it???
BTW, Is it possible to buy single days?? or it must be the whole week? In case we can buy 24h, does it count the time when you are sleeping or on a tour? I've heard that you can use it during 24h but if you disconnect the time doesnt count. 🙃 -
Thanks so much for this thread, but now I have another question.
I want to purchase Wifi only for 24 or 48 hours, is it possible? As in most of the ports I have free roaming, in case I buy for example 24hours (if possible) do I waste hours if I disconnect or go on a tour? I mean can I use the 24h during the whole week for example using 3 hours a day?
thanks

For Stockholm Royal Caribbean booked for us (fly and cruise) the Hotel C. http://www.booking.com/Share-XBDxt7 it is close to the train station.
-
Do you know what time does the bus pick you up when you book Fly and Sail program? I don't remember from other cruises
-
I think so, people say you can chat using it with other people onboard. Can We have more information?
BTW, When are they going to add more ships to the App?

I have the same question, as I have a friend in St Petersburg. I wonder how fast and slow is to move around in public transport there, our visas cost 58€/person which is cheaper than any excursion but I am afraid of the language barrier too.
-
Thank you.
As my last cruise was in 2011 and I was quite young I don't remember about food, so I can take it our as long as it is packaged.
I am going to have a look at SPB tours 🙂
What is the weather like in the baltic in summer??

There are no pre-cruise entertainment reservations for Serenade.
I meant to see what will be, not reservations sorry.

I am going to sail the Serenade of the Seas next summer, and it is my first time onboard this ship, I have some questions.
- I sailed Voyager and Allure before, both were very nice, Allure maybe a little bit crowded but very cool places inside, Voyager smalled but better details, what can I expect onboard the Serenade regarding my previous ones? 🙂
- Can we check online the shows and the entertainment on board? before boarding I mean. Just like in the airlines.
- Is it allowed to take food out from the ship? from the Windjammer café for example during days of long excursions, as it is included in the cruise fares, just like some hotels do. A kind of self picnic.🥪
- About St Petersbourg... companies that organize excursions? cheap ones if possible.
- If a ship stays in a port for example from 7am to 6pm...these timetables are the time the ship departs and arrives from/to the port, or the time passengers can get in and out the ship?
- Everything you can tell me about this ship and route is welcome!!
Thanks in advance. 😉

It doesn't work for me today 😞

I have my time dinning too, it is what our reservation gave us automatically, but I like the idea of having dinner at the same time every day, even with the same mates (I was usually lucky with them)
-
Ohh that is wonderful!!! I bet this part is always crowded!!
-
I will sail the Serenade, I have read anywhere that Serenade DOES HAVE outdoos Winjammer seating? if anyone has pics it would be great
-
Why not? Sun rays go through the glass 🙂
-
To be honest last week fares were cheaper than today's, so I am not sure if this Black Fridays really exists.
-
I don't know but it would be dissappointed because the Royal Promenade is one of the best and nice parts of the ships.

My last Meet and Mingle was about 45 mins and about 30 people, it is nice, a kind of wellcome speech and some info about the trip, some gifts gived away and some food and drinks :)
-
No reservations but I can remember solarium was not very crowded, I never had any problem about catching them free.
-
So are they making cutbacks? I though it was just each ship has their own rules, gifts and habits.
I made 2 cruises, one in Europe in 2009 (Voyager OTS) and the second in Western Caribbean in 2011. (Allure OTS)
I remember the first one as much more "detailed" as someone said before we had chocolates on the pillow, and before serving us the dinner we always had some bread and different types of cheeses and patés while waiting for the dishes.
We didn't have this in the second cruise in 2011.
-
Exactly let them know in a friendly way and it won't be a problem at all.
Do you know the menus by heart from other cruiseships or can you check it online somewhere?
-
I am not sure about the time in the middle but the taxi thing... maybe not possible because guides know how many people they have in the group and count them before going back to the ship, because if someone from an excursion is missing I am not sure if the ship can leave the port.
Maybe you can ask there or talk with the guide and explain it in that case you can get a taxi.

DW and I were spoiled to have our 1st Meet and Mingle experience be the BEST EVER. It was on our Baltic Cruise 27 May 2012. The folks were so kind and helpful on these boards and when we met in person, it was like having ol' friends on the ship to run into and say hello!
Exactly!! you cruise without knowing anybody but after some messages on forum and the MM party you have your known ones and people you feel like you know better.
