Thanks Terry223 and everyone else for the information. Hubby has a longsleeve white dress shirt w/tie and dress slacks, he just doesn't care for the suit thing.

Thanks for the information.....we will be sailing on Carnival.

We're sailing in a couple of weeks and I would like to know if on the formal dining nights if suits are required or if a longsleeve shirt and tie are appropriate? My hubby doesn't owe a suit and wouldn't use one if we bought it, so would prefer not to spend the money on it.
