Just used them a couple of weeks ago. They are well versed at this. You call the day before to get an assigned ride time over to the ship. Have breakfast at hotel get your ride over. Called number they gave us after we disembarked they were right over to pick us up. Worked great!

Great job on the review so far. Man those Guys Burgers were darn good!

Wonderful review and love the pics. We will be doing this exact cruise in May. As if I wasn't amped up enough already.

I got one from the excursion desk the second day of the cruise. They told me that they hold a number of them to sell onboard. The cabana is definitely worth the cost especially if you don't have FTTF. If you get a cabana you also get on the first tender boat.

I bought 7 $500 cards at one time to pay for my cruise( no 5 card limit). They were out when I went to buy them but they were available again the next week. Applied them myself while my PVP was working on my daughters booking.

Don't forget the Spanish language section. The answers don't have to be right to collect the points on these either. Lots of points to be had if you scroll down the page to them. Just keep a clicking, no comprende espanol

Great work on the review Husker! The picks of the menus and fun times are very helpful. My wife takes forever to decide what to eat so now she has a seven month head start.
-
Don't know about the five card limit. I ordered 7 $500 cards about 10 days ago. They shipped all together via UPS. Received them last Friday and paid off my cruise with them Saturday. They were a great deal saving me $350 off my cruise.

Just got my order in yesterday. Logged in to carnival and applied these babies right to my cruise balance, They saved me $350.00 off of my cruise cost. I will probably order more to use onboard for our onboard expenses and excursions.

Yeah, they typically restock within a week or so...just check back every day...they'll probably be back shortly.
BTW, they usually only allow you to buy 5 cards of each denomination every week (for example, you're only allowed to buy five $500 and five $100 per week...for a total of $3000 in gift cards each week), so for your needs, you'll definitely want the $500 cards.

Thanks Flyer thankfully we have a little time before we sail.

Do they usually restock these ? I went to buy these to pay for my cruise and all they have is the $100 version available. Not looking to buy and enter 35 of those babies.

If you buy the actual gift cards and have them mailed to your house can you not just apply them to your cruise before hand? I have only paid my deposit so far. Is the gift card not an approved form of payment on their website?

We also try to send a little something to each cabin in our party. Usually cookies, gummies, fruit tray, etc.. Also order cakes for the dining room for birthdays and anniversaries. Everything they deliver is always so yummy. And usually start our with a case of water and reorder if necessary

I think I'm going to do some beer this time. How nice would it be to have some cold bottles of beer in my room?
Done this on each of my cruises. I usually order the cooler bag and beer combo.
Too my disappointment the beer has always been delivered room temp.:(

We did a vow renewal for our 25th anniversary aboard the Glory two years ago. Two of my brothers and their wives were on the cruise with us. About two months before we sailed I found out my father in law and his girlfriend were booked on the same cruise. It was the perfect opportunity to surprise my wife with this. The wedding department took care of everything. I secretly met up with the planner on day two of the cruise and we set it up for day 5. All I had to do was propose to my wife again and hope she said yes. As a bonus my father in law got to walk his daughter down the aisle to me. Well worth the cost in my book.

This is great news for me. I would rather spend my cruise money on the boat instead of getting to the boat.

I heard it was some guy named KC and his Sunshine Band :)

You have to be back on your ship by 1:30, I would scratch this off your list. No time to enjoy it

We did this to celebrate our 25th anniversay while aboard the Carnival Glory. If I remember correctly it set me back about $350 or so. It was money well spent. I surpised my lady with a proposal in Freeport with diamond earrings. The Captain preformed our ceremony that evening after sailing away. We had 6 other family members with us on this cruise including my wives father who got to walk her down the aisle. Mad brownie points for me.

Shrimp is only available the first day but every day there are three choices and could be beef, chicken, pork, calamari or salmon. There are always three sauces ranging from mild to spicy. The other choices are usually two types of noodles and a variety of veggies. I really like the wok and will miss it when it is eventually replaced on all of the ships.
They aren't really getting rid of the wok on all of the ships are they?
Please say it ain't so.:(:(

We will be in Nassau Dec 18 onboard the EOS. We will have our two grandkids age 7 and 9 with us. I am thinking that they would love the Aquaventure and the Digs excursion that RCCL is offering. I believe it is $99 adult and $69 for the kids. My concern is that it will be too cool for them to enjoy the waterpark. Anyone have any thoughts on a backup plan if the weather sucks that particular day?

Thank you for your time and efforts in putting together this review. It is very informative and your pictures are great. My wife and I are going on this same cruise in Oct with some family. I hope we have as much fun as you girls did.
Why are CARNIVAL cruise prices so low right now?

I got an email a couple of days ago that linked to a bunch of $10 inside cabins, $25 ocean view. I don't gamble often in the casino so I know I didn't earn it that way. I honestly thought their website had been hacked. I selected something from all the available ones and put it on hold for 24 hours. I called my PVP to see if this was legit. He assured me that it was. I could not pass up an 8 day southern Caribbean cruise for two in a OV cabin at $450 with taxes and port charges included. $56 a day for room, food and entertainment. Shoot my car payment is more then that. I feel very fortunate to have received this opportunity and pray that each one of you receive an offer like this as well.
