  1. Rc got back In touch with me after I then sent them an email stating it is $15 to upgrade per person per day including tax- I know it isn't much more to ask but what is most annoying is that customer service and what's happening on Board are both different- I advised rc they need to both be advising the same so as when people are on board they aren't getting charged more than what is being quoted ! Xxx

I went onto rc page and it wasn't stated on there in the FAQ section .. f9fb5e9cde4d0be24788c084731a7754.jpg... also my fit bit requires a USB cable to charge so I have one of these 30231b9654d692b75fe4555a82e370f6.jpg

  4. Hello everyone, I have eventually managed to persuade my husband to drive down to Southampton day before the cruise and stay over night.. I have just booked the ibis budget Southampton central family room for £59 . Good price so can't really complain after all it's just A bed for a night result ... 329 to go whoop whoop

  5. We are booked in the Indy September next year two week cruise from Southampton. Included in the deal we got a free basic drinks package which covers soft drink beer and wine. My hubby drinks beer and wine where as I don't I am a spirit drinker.. Does any one know roughly how much we would be to upgrade the drinks package so that spirits are also included. We were thinking prob in the region of £400 for us both?? But as we have never been on Royal carribean before have no idea of the prices of the drinks on board X

  6. Hi all we are on our first cruise next September on Indy round trip from Southampton to western med, we paid half of the deposit over the phone and due to pay more now. When I booked over the phone direct with RC they said all we had to do was send a call back request then they would accept payment over the phone, however my husband tried that and also emailed yesterday but has heard nothing back.. Any ideas what to do about this? Or is there any other way to pay without it being over the phone with booking direct?

Thanks in advance for your help lesley x

  7. Great advice thanks everyone, my hubby looked at rough prices for trains this year and with. Family and friends railcard first class it was coming up at a really great price . Yes this includes one or two changes though. We are going with other who drive with a trailer so we even considered asking if they have room for our luggage so it would be easier if we chose to fly.. Only thing with trains is need to book three months in advance when tickets come out so that we get a good price.. I will also let hubby know about splitting tickets for better price as he is in charge of transport lol. We are also leaving on th Friday to travel and stay overnight in Southampton which should help should there be any delays or such like..

  8. Are you sailing through the Bay of Biscay? That would be my concern for you. Sometimes it is smooth, but the first time we sailed from Southampton to the Med through the Bay of Biscay, we had what could only be described as the absolute WORST day at sea EVER! Even worse than going up to Alaska in September. So bad, the Captain closed all outside decks - but then, it was hard to walk around the ship at all and dining was a major challenge (hold onto your glass at all times, lean forward so the plate doesn't slide off the table into your lap), so who would want to go on deck in those conditions? I was awfully glad to have Trans Derm Scops (scopolamine patches) with us and we both put one on in the morning, and we took our IPADS and made our way midship for the day. It still was a horrible day at sea and we were very uncomfortable, but at least we were not vomiting and nauseated. The good news was that the next day we were in the Med which was smooth as glass - like nothing had ever happened and when we returned to Southampton, the seas were relatively calm.

Yes we sure are and that is my main concern as I have heard how bad it can be.. My husband and I have cruised before on little ships in the med and one day it was rocky and it felt that when walking around we were drunk without the alcohol. If I remember I ended up just going to lie down fell asleep and woke the next day to smooth seas again. Different this time though as will have a 6 year old with us xxx

  9. We are off on Indy next September for our first ever big family cruise. Can anyone tell me about kids club?? Is it advisable to book as soon as on the ship? What times do they run? Is it 2 hour sessions like holiday villages or longer? Also what other kids activities , entertainment if there on board ? I know there is an ice rink do they do lessons and can kids learn? My wee girl keeps asking this

    Thanks in advance x
