Nice to hear. I had to cancel this cruise 2 days prior to departure. Keep posting please! I will cruise vicariously through you.

RCI should make that quite clear on the website so that people know what they are buying.
I agree. I bought it for my upcoming cruise on Indy. I bought it to get iced coffees. I'm sharing it with my fiancé. 2 punches isn't with it!

You have 4 hours from the time you submit your information to clear customs and immigration. So when your ship arrives and you turn on your phone, enter the cruise-related information, submit it, and the 4-hour clock starts ticking.
Oh wonderful! I started to panic! Can I put my fiancé's name on it too? He doesn't have an iPhone and I heard it wasn't available yet for android. This may have changed already. Also with different last names, is it okay to use it on one app?
Thanks. Ya'll are the best!

What is this 4 hour prior? I will be on Indy in a few weeks and we have an 11:50 flight and we plan on walking off with our luggage and use this. I won't have my phone turned on until we dock back in Port Everglades. Will this be a problem?

I'm following. I'm at this same hotel for a cruise departing Jan 28th. I've never used Uber before but am thinking about it from the hotel to the port and maybe even a couple times pre cruise to get wine and things.

Cool videos. Thank you for sharing!

I would highly recommend Bernard's Tours. It was the best private excursion we have ever done. They will meet you at the pier- the guide was professional and entertaining. We spent time watching the planes land and take-off, some shopping time and time at Orient Beach. We were back in plenty of time to spend some time at the shops on the pier. You will not be disappointed.
I second this! We booked Bernards tour and we were NOT disappointed. It was the best excursion! The guide was entertaining. I'm not sure if you have young kids or not, but our group mainly had adults 21 and over so the ride was entertaining and the rum punch was flowing. It was awesome!

I vote for a promenade room. I was nervous about doing an interior and I think this is the only way I can do it! You aren't in the room too much anyway! I've only done promenade before (trying balcony on Indy) but that is because I splurged as it's only a 5 night. I will probably stick with promenade's so I can cruise more!

It's more about getting off the ship than the travel time/traffic to the airport in most cases. We came back last Monday and left the ship around 10:40 and made it thru customs at about 12:20 (Uber request was 12:24). Getting thru customs was crazy - 3 officers but there were 6 lines!
You are making me nervous! My flight is 11:50am on Delta. This is the first time I've booked Delta. I wonder what happens if I miss the flight?

 we have a 11:30a return flight. Hope things run smoother on Jan 9th.
I hope so too. I have a flight at the same time and will be coming off Indy Feb 2nd. I'm hoping since it will be a Thursday it won't be difficult getting to the airport in time for the flight.

Graham Seymour, a very funny guy.
I agree. Gaham Seymour. He is hilarious!

You can use the card for all the specialty coffee beverages in Café Promenade. They may use Starbucks, Seattle's Best, Illy, or some other type of beans.
Thanks for that info! I've been searching and almost resorted to calling. I know since there is no stand alone Starbucks there is a chance of it being Starbucks brewed coffee. I wasn't too fond of the coffee in MDR. Maybe this will be different. :D

I saw the Café Select Card and purchased one to share as I cannot have 15 in 5 nights. I am on Indy in January. Do they have Starbucks coffee served in the promenade like Freedom? Does this card cover that? I'm looking forward to iced coffee's.
Thanks in advance

I've been on deck 6 and 7 for promenade rooms. Noise was not a problem with either. Just remember to close the curtains. Our room was very dark and we slept very well!

Noooooooo. You did it and you are done. You have to choose what is best for you. To me, if Southwest was cheaper, all those layovers not worth it. Just my thoughts. You are done and one step closer so move on to something else - like packing thoughts. Ugh!
P.S. Lived in Grand Island years ago.
There wasn't much difference in fare actually. sWA had me going to Denver, Chicago and Baltimore. Most of those were two stops too. In January no thanks!

I just booked delta for January 28 cruise. Southwest wasn't a good option for us with times and layovers. (Denver, Baltimore and Chicago all from Omaha).
I did a dummy booking for 90 days out and did not see any change in fare so I booked. FLL is expensive in late January as are the hotels.
Hoping I didn't shoot myself in the foot booking delta.

Great review!! I was on this cruise. Crew was very friendly and helpful. Windjammer did get crowded. Activities and shows were great! We felt a vibration in our room-deck 6 mid ship promenade. It wasn't bad but noticeable.
Great cruise in my eyes!

I hope things calm down. I'm on this ship in two weeks! Here's to calmer seas.
-
Going to try this for my cruise may 1. I realized how much I overpacked my first cruise.
-
Following as I'm on Freedom may 1 eastern Caribbean. Little nervous about the seas

Excited to read the rest!

Thanks! My fiancé and I will get through it. Hopefully we can book one in due time. Or I'll just go myself because I can't wait to get back to the sea.
