Hello:
To those of you who are traveling on a Royal Caribbean cruise after December 17, 2021 with unvaccinated kids under 12, where are you getting their PCR testing done? I’m very stressed with this and the fact that the test results might not be in by our boarding day on Dec. 20. I hope this question is allowed because I am at wits end. I have tried calling RC and they are still reading me the old Covid test rules for this age group so you can understand my frusteration. Thanks to all

So in packed luggage?

Hello:
I will be a first time cruiser on Disney Wish next year. I understand each person can bring 2 bottles of wine on board. Can you pack those small bottles of liquor (like they have on airplanes) in your packed luggage? We don’t drink wine. Thank you!!

Thanks All!

Hello
We're leaving for a cruise on the 18th. We are scheduled for late dining. Is there anyway to change this to any time dining when we get on the ship. I've been on cruises years ago and I remember going to the dining room at a certain time to see the maître d' and change times. Is that still the same?
thanks!

Hello
Sailing out of Galveston on Monday Feb. 18 on Carnival. What are the advantages/disadvantages of the following?
1. Park at hotel you're staying the night before and take hotel shuttle?
2. Park at Cruise Port?
First time out of Galveston so a little nervous....
thanks.

Thanks everyone. I didn't know that it was really important to be at least an hour from the cruise port the day of sailing. Now I have a plan!

So sorry. Sailing from Galveston port on Feb18 and looking for halfway point from Oklahoma City to Galveston to stay in a hotel .

Don’t quite understand your reply. We only can drive 3-4 ours in a day so we will have to stop at a hotel for a night. What does anything have to do with experienced cruisers

Hello
Driving from Oklahoma City to carnival cruise pier on February 17 which is the day before the cruise. Does anyone know how to find out a decent hotel halfway to the cruise port ? Thanks

Thank you! I didn't know that about Progreso. I would've wasted my time at the beach. Thank you so much for the information !

Hello
What time are the shows on the Valor ship? What time should we go to dinner and still see the show? Do you have to go to any time dining for that to happen? Right now we have late dining. Thank you very much...

We would just like a beautiful beach in Progreso and Cozumel with facilities. Not into spending money for food since you have all the food you want back at the ship already paid for . A couple drinks would be nice though. I think the carnival excursions are a little too expensive for me and my budget so I would like some ideas on where to go and how to get there.
Thank you

Wow. Thanks everyone for the time you took to reply. I appreciate it very much.

I'm new at this so can I please ask what is the fun shop. I'm going on a cruise next month and would love to take a bottle of vodka for bloody Mary's and some wine. Thank you

Hello
We are going on a cruise next month February and the ports of call are Cozumel and Progreso Mexico. We would like to go to a really nice beach in Cozumel and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on that also do a little shopping. What is there to see in Progreso . Are there nice beaches there too? Or are there other things to see. I have never been there.
thanks!

Hello
Going on A five night cruise on Carnival Valor leaving from Galveston next month. I have not been on a cruise in 10 years. First of all I would like to ask if purchasing the beverage plan for $60 a day is worth it. I'm told if you drink more than five or six drinks a day that it is worth it. Not sure I would drink that much but two or three glasses of wine at dinner is always a must plus a couple drinks during the day so I guess it might be. Any thoughts on that? Also I think you can carry one bottle of wine on board per person however what's the chances of filling up a container with vodka and bring it on. Do they check every liquid container to see what's in it? Especially if it's a bottle saying face wash....
has anyone been on the Carnival Valor since the refurbishment? It looks quite nice in the photos. We have an Aft cabin on deck 8 with the larger balcony. Hope we're not disappointed being in the back of the ship.
Any advice or information would be appreciated! Thanks.
Covid Testing for Unvaccinated children under 12

Right now I plan on getting the Grandkids tested at CVS for the PCR test on Dec. 17, Our cruise leaves on Dec. 20.. They send it to the Lab and it supposedly takes 1-2 days. I am going to be a nervous wreck. Great way to start a vacation. I contacted RC and whoever it was didnt even know about the new protocol for kids under 12. I live in Oklahoma and will be driving to Galveston the day prior to the cruise. I also contacted the Oklahoma ER Hospital here and they have a rapid PCR test that they give. That takes an hr. For the results. I don’t even know if that is acceptable because there is no one to ask.
