  1. Ok - this may be a dumb question. I know you can use old credit cards or hotel room keys as the card key for the room safe and that you can have multiple cards if they have the same account number programmed on them. My question is, has anyone used a non activated gift card (like the blank ones at Walmart/Target) as a safe key and have you been able to use multiple ones to give to each person in the cabin?

We love our Tervis Tumblers. We order them from the Tervis website and personalize them for different activities that we have done on the cruise. This cup represents the cruise we did a dolphin excursion. I use these cups everyday. They are a daily reminder of the fun we had while on the cruise. I put them in the dishwasher with no problems.

  3. Just a heads up to anyone that is looking to sail on the Legend on the May 25th sailing...Cabin 6232 with that nice long balcony looks like it has become available. This is a quad cabin. I would switch to that cabin, but I have to stay next to the group I'm sailing with. Just thought I'd let someone else know in case they are interested.

  4. I use my Carnival Card as my corporate purchase card for all my travel/purchases for my work. We aren't issued corporate cards. Work pays the bill and I get the points. The owner is ok with this, so I feel I get a bonus every time I get to redeem points! :)

  5. I have done this twice. It takes a little research and playing with the online booking. Figure out where you would like to be on the ship and look at the deck plans. Then go through the steps as if you are booking individual cabins (not both at the same time). We did have to book an fault in each booking but go to Guest Services as soon as we are on board and have the SS cards changed.

  6. Thank you to everyone that replied to my question earlier today. I appreciate the input. I actually stopped by my Ross this evening and found a grey dress for $25. I'll post a pic as soon as I get one uploaded.

LiveWell - YES I absolutely plan on being one of the girls.:) I went on my first cruise "with the girls" last year and absolutely loved it. I think we are making it an annual get away. The shopping an planning for the cruise is so much fun too!

  7. Hi Ladies! I stumbled across this page last night and couldn't stop reading. I had to revisit it this morning. I am taking my 2nd cruise in May on the Carnival Legend as a celebration for my daughter graduating high school. This will be a girls only cruise. :p We are planning on wearing long evening gowns at least one of the formal nights. We will have my daughter's best friend with us and she will have to miss her Sr prom, so we are trying to make up for it. I have plenty of cocktail dresses but no long formals. I found one on ebay that I am considering. Would you mind giving me your opinion? Is it ok for a cruise for a 40 something mom with her daughter? - Thanks!
