I bid on priceline and got Delta Vancouver Suites for Aug 2 for $160. It's not exactly the location I thought I'd get. Any comments?

Well, I finally got a bid accepted on Priceline for August 2 in Vancouver. $160 at the Delta Vancouver Suites. It looks like the neighborhood may be questionable, but I think the price is good. I didn't know this hotel was a 4 star.

I tried a bid and it failed, but I noticed that it only allowed for one name per room. Do they charge a fee for a second person in the room?

I didn't mean the West end will be closed due to traffic. I meant the West end will be closed to thru traffic. Sounds funny.

I was checking Hampton Inn and Best Western for August 2nd before ship departing on August 3rd and discovered no rooms were available. Apparently there is a big Celebration of Lights that takes place. I noticed the West end will be closed due to traffic. I guess I better hurry up and get a hotel room. I was hoping I would get luckier on Priceline by waiting until it was closer to the departing date. Are there any parts of the West End to avoid because there will be large crowds? Any information about the event will be appreciated. Thanks.
