  1. We are booked on Oceana departing from Venice, however we are arriving a day early to spend some extra time in Venice and will make our own way over to the cruise Terminal. Can anyone tell me from what time we will be able to get ourselves 'processed'. As ideally we would like to have breakfast at our Hotel, drop off cases and do all relevant paperwork to get our boarding cards, then enjoy the rest of the day in Venice.

    TIA :)

  2. Give them a call and inform them of your Dietary requirements and they will assist, I have Coeliac Disease and I am also Lactose intolerant. They have always catered well for me, so it should not be an issue.

  3. Dave, it's a really easy walk into Brugge, you don't even need a map, just follow the crowd (that's what we did). Have done Brugge 5 times with P & O twice by taxi (v easy but a €50 trip per taxi each way - so roll call and share) 2 times on the P & O trip, and once in the train. I will now always do out by train, easy cheap and the same distance walk in as the P & O trip.

  4. Have booked this a last minute break, I cant find anything on roll call, but was looking to see if any one else would like to share a Taxi into Brugge with my mother and I. Would prefer a taxi as they can get into town rather than the P & O trip coach trip which i understand drops you a little out of town. (mum has recently had a knee replacement so mobile as long as she does not do too much). Happy to arrange this for any one who's interested, looking to go into Brugge around 10/10.30 and returning about 4hrs later.

  5. A long time ago......when i was dancing for a living the OP's comments may have been true, i was offered cruise liner work, it was a standing joke at that time it, didn't matter how bad you were as because of the client base age, they were either deaf, partially sighted or immobile ;)so you had a captive audience!

How times have changed, and i would (if i was still treading the boards) give my right eye to be a part of any cruise line entertainment crew.

I would also like to add my uncle up until his sudden death last year was a guest entertainer on P & O, and he was most definitely not a peacock :)

  6. Just booked, and knew about this - when i asked what i need to do they told me we were not eligible as it was a two night cruise.......now i see from the link that we are.......so will be sending them an email on the link for our December mini and our May mini (yup a grand total of £15pp each to spend) of well an afternoos sail out cocktails paid for :D
